New evidence on accelerator performance based on funding and location

Seed accelerators (SAs) appear as a more advanced version of business incubators. These for-profit organizations in exchange of equity, help setting new start-ups by providing mentoring and funding during its first months. Due to their emergent nature, the impact and expectations of SAs remains largely unknown. Efectos del desarrollo sostenible percibido por el consumidor. Una propuesta de modelo de hipermercados en Ecuador

Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la incidencia del desarrollo sostenible sobre la cadena de efectos: valor percibido - capital de marca - lealtad. Para ello, se propone un modelo teórico de relaciones que se contrasta a partir de una muestra de 317 clientes de hiper mercados en Ecuador. Los resultados, aplicando una metodología exploratoria y confirmatoria, combinada con regresión por mínimos cuadrados parciales, mostraron que tanto las acciones de desarrollo sostenible como el valor percibido son pilares maestros sobre los que se puede apoyar la estrategia minorista. La literatura contable revela resultados contradictorios al evaluar el efecto que los diferentes usos de los sistemas de control de gestión (SCG) tienen en la innovación. Siguiendo el marco teórico establecido por Simons (1995), este trabajo prueba el efecto que la internacionalización, bien sea directo, mediador o moderador, tiene en la relación entre el uso interactivo de los SCG y el compromiso de las empresas con la innovación. Executive remuneration determinants: New evidence from meta-analysis

This meta-analysis takes stock of 121 C.E.O. pay studies published between 1998 and 2018 with the objective of identifying the main drivers of C.E.O. pay from a global perspective and contributing to the agency vs managerial debate on this ground. The meta-results disclose a positive C.E.O. pay–performance correlation (the highest correlation coefficient corresponds to Earnings per share with a 34%) as the agency theory prescribes and the governance policies promote.
