The chapter discusses Husserl’s method of historical reflection, radical Besinnung, as defined and used in Formale und transzendentale Logik (1929). Whereas Formal and Transcendental Logic introduces and displays Husserl’s usage of Besinnung in the context of the exact sciences, the chapter seeks to develop it as a more general critical method with which to approach any rational goal-directed activity. Husserl defines Besinnung as a method that enables understanding agents and their actions by explicating agents’ typically implicit goals. We discuss whether some perturbed Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) universes could be creatable, i. e., could have vanishing energy, linear momentum and angular momentum, as it could be expectable if the Universe arose as a quantum fluctuation. On account of previous results, the background is assumed to be either closed (with very small curvature) or flat. In the first case, fully arbitrary linear perturbations are considered; whereas in the flat case, it is assumed the existence of: (i) inflationary scalar perturbations, that is to say, Gaussian adiabatic scalar perturbations having an spectrum close to the Harrison-Zel'dovich one, and (ii) arbitrary tensor perturbations. 0264-6021 (Print) Journal Article Research Support, Non-U.S. Gov't; The epicuticular surface protein Lma-p72 is specific to the abdominal secretions of Leucophaea maderae (Madeira cockroach) adult males. Natural Lma-p72 was purified and the complete cDNA sequence determined by reverse-transcription PCR using primers based on Edman degradation fragments. Northern blot and in situ hybridization analyses showed that Lma-p72 was expressed in the tergal and sternal glands. Sequence alignment indicates that Lma-p72 is closely related to the family 1 glycosyl hydrolases (EC 3.2.1). Med utgangspunkt i Derridas kritikk av Husserl beskrives og kritiseres det tradisjonelle intuisjonistiske synet på fysikken. Dette foreslås erstattet med en lingvistisk empirisme, basert på Derridas språkfilosofi. Ved å betrakte matematikken i kvantemekanikken som et språk, oppnås en ny tilnærming til kvantemekanikkens tolkningsproblem.

Yet with only a few substrates described their biological roles are enigmatic. Moreover, the lack of knowledge of astacin cleavage site specificities hampers assay and drug development. The isolation and identification is described of MHC class II-bound peptides derived from Langerhans cells. A combination of preparative micro-HPLC, MALDI-MS, Edman degradation was used for determining the amino acid sequence of MHC-associated peptides. Sample handling was crucial because fractions containing trace amounts of material require immediate storage at −80 °C to prevent peptide losses.
