Synthesis, Characterization, and Cytotoxicity of New Spirooxindoles Engrafted Furan Structural Motif as a Potential Anticancer Agent

A new series of spirooxindoles based on ethylene derivatives having furan aryl moiety are reported. The new hybrids were achieved via [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction as an economic one-step efficient approach. The final constructed spirooxindoles have four contiguous asymmetric carbon centers. The structure of 3a is exclusively confirmed using X-ray single crystal diffraction. The supramolecular structure of 3a is controlled by O···H, H···H, and C···C intermolecular contacts. It includes layered molecules interconnected weak C–H···O (2.675 Å), H···H (2.269 Å), and relatively short Cl···Br interhalogen interactions [3.4500(11)Å]. Työn kirjallisessa osassa käsitellään ketonien enantioselektiivistä pelkistystä entsyymeillä. Entsymaattiset reaktiot ovat kiinnostavia hyvän selektiivisyytensä ja ympäristöystävällisyytensä takia. Kaikki ketoneja pelkistävät entsyymit tarvitsevat toimintaansa nikotiiniamidikofaktoria NADH tai NADPH ja voivat yleensä katalysoida reaktioita sekä hapetus- että pelkistyssuuntaan. Kofaktoreita kierrätetään reaktioissa yleensä joko isopropanolia hapettamalla tai erillisellä entsyymillä, kuten glukoosidehydrogenaasilla. Kinolonisynteesit ja valterioni C:n oksabisyklisen rungon synteesi

Kirjallisuusosassa käytiin läpi erilaisia kinolonisynteesejä, joita voitaisiin mahdollisesti hyödyntää antiviraalisen valterioni C-alkaloidin kokonaissynteesin loppuun saattamiseksi. Käytiin läpi perinteisiä 4-kinolonijohdannaisten valmistukseen käytettyjä Conrad–Limpach-, Gould–Jacobs- ja Camps-synteesejä, sekä esiteltiin lyhyesti myös joitain vaihtoehtoisia synteesejä. Kokeellisessa osassa kuvattiin kolme erilaista lähestymistapaa valterioni C:n oksabisyklisen rungon valmistamiseksi. Analysis and synthesis with a three-component inferential system : Augmenting the explanatory scope of Conceptual Spaces

The study introduces a model of analysis and synthesis, respective abductive and deductive reasoning, using the three-component inferential system, which is constituted by a perspective-relative augmentation of Gärdenfors’s theory of Conceptual Spaces (CS). A general formulation of Perspective, based on our earlier work, corresponds to prioritization among property dimensions. Instead of assuming one conceptual space as in the CS, a distinction is made between the high-dimensional description of the discourse/domain termed Ontospace, and the two-dimensional perspectival space onto which a Perspectiverelative hierarchical conceptualization is projected, referred to as the Perspectival Space.…

Kuljettajien tarkkaamattomuus on maailmanlaajuinen ilmiö. Tarkkaamattomuuden vaikutuksia liikenneturvallisuuteen on tutkittu ilmiön yleisyyden takia viime aikoina paljon. Useiden tutkimuksien mukaan kuljettajan tarkkaamattomuus on merkittävä tekijä auto-onnettomuuksissa. Usein kuljettajan tarkkaamattomuus johtuu toissijaisesta tehtävästä – esimerkiksi viestin kirjoittamisesta tai osoitteen etsimisestä – ajon aikana. Aiemmissa tutkimuksissa on havaittu, että kuljettajilla saattaa olla yksilöllisiä laitteeseen suuntautuvien katseiden kestojen preferenssejä toissijaisia tehtäviä tehdessä. Paperitehtaan jätevesien käsittely termofiilisellä aktiiviliete- ja biofilmiprosessilla

Monilla teollisuudenaloilla muodostuu kuumia jätevesiä, jotka jäähdytetään biologista kä- sittelyä varten. Käsittely totuttua korkeammassa lämpötilassa voi tuoda taloudellisia sekä prosessin toimintaan liittyviä etuja. Kuitenkin useimpien termofiilisestä jätevedenkäsittelystä saatujen kokemusten mukaan lietteen erotus on vaikeampaa kuin tavanomaisessa jäteveden käsittelyssä. Myös joidenkin liukoisten aineiden poisto voi monimutkaistua. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoite oli verrata termofiilisen (55 °C) aktiiviliete- ja biofilmiprosessien toimintaa pilot-mittakaavassa. . Savu daļu iegādes finansēšanas aizliegums ir nostiprināts Komerclikuma 241.pantā un ir attiecināms uz akciju sabiedrībām, ne sabiedrībām ar ierobežotu atbildību. Finansēšanas aizliegums ir pārņemts no Padomes Otrās direktīvas, kuras grozījumi attiecībā uz finansēšanas aizlieguma “mīkstināšanu”, šobrīd nav pārņemti Latvijas nacionālajās tiesību normās. Darba mērķis ir analizēt būtiskākos problēmjautājumus un nepieciešamību ieviest Padomes Otrās direktīvas grozījumus Komerclikumā. Lai izvairītos no finansēšanas aizlieguma attiecināmību uz Sabiedrībām ar ierobežotu atbildību, nepieciešams veikt grozījumus Komerclikumā, precizējot finansēšanas aizlieguma attiecināmību uz akciju sabiedrībām.
Pedagogical Foundation and Significance of the ICT Studies for the Teacher Trainees in Their Studies

Finnish national core curriculum (2014) highlights the important of ICT. A strong theoretical model and pedagogical understanding are needed for the innovative teaching use of technology. In this study we describe theoretical background of our ICT education and development of teacher trainees ICT-skills and pedagogical understanding. The students' study module is based on Mishra and Koehler’s TPACK-model (2006).The data was collected during two years from two student groups (N=52). Results indicated that, in general, the studies have made it possible to acquire the technological competence and to combine the pedagogical knowledge with the technology.
