The uncertainty of the energy demand in existing mediterranean urban blocks

The objective of the paper is to describe a stochastic model that has been developed to obtain load profiles for household electricity. For the study, several profiles have been generated in order to simulate the electrical demand of a residential building block or neighbourhood and evaluate the uncertainty of its energy use. The paper is divided in three different parts: development of the model, validation and determination of the uncertainty demand. In the first parts the basis of the model and how it works is explained. The second one represents the validation of the model, the input data and its results. The purpose of this article is to provide an empirical basis for understanding the issue of resistance within knowledge intensive firms. The paper initially provides a theoretical investigation identifying the research gap within the literature. The research gap further is explored through an empirical research. Research findings derive from the analysis of 11 in-depth interviews taken from a new media consultancy in UK. Moreover, the findings distinctively support that, staff resistance is beyond previously (traditional) assumed polar distinctions. Stereocontrolled synthesis of fluorine-containing piperidine γ-amino acid derivatives

An efficient synthetic approach for the construction of fluorine‐containing piperidine γ‐amino acid derivatives has been developed. The synthetic concept was based on oxidative ring opening of an unsaturated bicyclic γ‐lactam (Vince‐lactam) through its ring C=C bond, followed by double reductive amination of the diformyl intermediate performed with various fluoroalkylamines. The method has been extended towards the access of alkylated and perfluoroalkylated substances and for γ‐lactam derivatives. The presence of the fossil polychaete Rotularia spirulaea (Lamarck, 1818) in Eocene deposits (middle Lutecian – upper Bartonian and (?) Priabonian) belonging to the western Pyrenean Domain is verified. In this paper, a fossildiagenetic study has been carried out. Fossils from three areas, corresponding to diff erent depositional settings, have been analysed. In area 1, sediments of the Ardanatz Sandstone and Ilundain Marls formations [Pamplona Basin and adjoining areas (Navarre)], were sampled.
