Bakgrunn: Forskning viser at pasienter i generell anestesi som har fått sine luftveier sikret med en larynxmaske eller en endotrakealtube opplever postoperative pharyngolaryngeale komplikasjoner. Et kontrollert cufftrykk har vist reduksjon i komplikasjoner.
 Hensikt: Hensikten med studien var å undersøke hvilke metoder anestesisykepleiere bruker for å kontrollere cufftrykk, og hvilke begrunnelser de har for å bruke cufftrykkmanometer.
 Metode: Totalt 45 anestesisykepleiere ble observert når de kontrollerte cufftrykket i en endotrakealtube og en larynxmaske. Anestesisykepleierne ble i tillegg spurt om hvilke begrunnelser de hadde for å bruke eller ikke bruke cufftrykkmanometer.�…

Communities are powerful and necessary agents for defining and pursuing their health, but outside organizations often adopt community health promotion approaches that are patronizing and top-down. Conversely, bottom-up approaches that build on and mobilize community health assets are often critiqued for tasking the most vulnerable and marginalized communities to use their own limited resources without real opportunities for change. In this paper, we present a numerical simulation of three metal cathode (silver, copper and nickel) submitted to a constant flux power flux density ranging between and . The goal is to compare the interface evolution (vaporization and liquefaction rate, appearance time of liquid and vapour, energetic repartition) to predict the behaviour of the cathodes during an electric arc.

Pemphigus is a chronic disease with an outcome that is not without risk. It is characterised by loss of the intraepithelial cell-cell relationship (acantholysis). Underlying the disease is an autoimmune disorder in which the desmosomes are damaged by antibodies directed against particular molecules called desmogleins (particularly 3 and 1). Various types of pemphigus have been described with different antibody profiles and clinical signs. Background: The pathogenesis of severe COVID-19 is frequently associated with an uncontrolled inflammatory response. Severe forms of COVID-19 appear to be more frequent in obese patients, but an association with metabolic disorders is not established. Here, we focused on lipoprotein metabolism in patients hospitalized for severe pneumonia, depending on COVID-19 status. Methods: Thirty-four non-COVID-19 and 27 COVID-19 patients with severe pneumonia were enrolled. Most of them required intensive care.
