Abstract Protein adsorption studies returned to the focus of medical therapeutics, when it was found that up to 2500 non-plasma proteins adsorbed to hip implants during arthroplastic surgery, challenging peri-implant healing models. Questions have re-emerged as to the implications of uncontrolled protein unfolding after adsorption. In past studies on the cooperativity of protein binding we discovered protein adsorption hysteresis, a thermodynamically irreversible process. Angular Dependency of Hyperspectral Measurements over Wheat Characterized by a Novel UAV Based Goniometer

In this study we present a hyperspectral flying goniometer system, based on a rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with a spectrometer mounted on an active gimbal. We show that this approach may be used to collect multiangular hyperspectral data over vegetated environments. The pointing and positioning accuracy are assessed using structure from motion and vary from σ = 1° to 8° in pointing and σ = 0.7 to 0.8 m in positioning. We use a wheat dataset to investigate the influence of angular effects on the NDVI, TCARI and REIP vegetation indices. The controversy over ideas between the two Socratics is historically very well-attested, as can already be seen in the Cratylus. Climate regimes and yearly streamflow frequency analysis in Sicily

Yearly streamflow frequency analysis is performed in Sicily, Mediterranean’s largest island, using the index flow procedure, i.e. fitting a single probability distribution function (pdf) to the available yearly flow data scaled by their mean. This requires 1) the identification of homogeneous regions where L-moments’ observed variability can be ascribed to sample variability only, and 2) the estimation of mean annual streamflow by multiple regression analysis with some significant climatic and morphologic covariates. Diplomdarbā tiek vērtēta kritiskās domāšanas tehnoloģiju paņēmienu un metožu pielietošana, mācot lasīšanu krievu valodas kā svešvalodas stundās. Darbā tiek pamatota lasīšanas apmācības nozīme svešvalodas apgūšanas procesā, kā arī tiek pētītas mūsdienīgas lasīšanas stratēģijas un tiek noteiktas to pielitošanas īpatnības. Diplomdarba praktiskajā daļā tiek piedāvātas stundu metodiskas izstrādnes, izmantojot kritiskās domāšanas tehnoloģiju paņēmienus un metodes un kombinējot tos noteiktajās lasīšanas stratēģijās. Tämä tutkimus on osa Jyväskylän yliopiston Psykoterapian Opetus- ja tutkimusklinikalla toteutettavaa Relationaalinen Mieli -tutkimushanketta. Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin pariterapian reflektiivisten keskustelujen vuorovaikutusta ja erityisiä hetkiä. Tarkastelussa hyödynnettiin terapiaistuntojen nauhoitteiden lisäksi asiakkaiden ja terapeuttien autonomisen hermoston vasteista ja synkroniasta saatavaa tietoa sekä jälkihaastatteluaineistoa.
