Lietotāja vadīts reljefa ģenerēšanas algoritms

Līdzās datorgrafikas attīstībai arī kino un datorspēļu industrija attīstījušas tālu uz priekšu. Tehnoloģijas mainās un atjaunojas tik strauji, ka pieprasījums pēc kvalitatīvākiem un plašākiem ainavu reljefiem nekad nezūd. Manuāla zīmēšana būtu milzīga laiks un naudas patēriņš. Jau 20.gs. 80. gados, speciālisti izveidojuši reljefa ģenerēšanas algoritmus, kuru uzdevums ir apvidus atveidošana pēc iespējas tuvāk dabā esošajiem reljefa paraugiem. Mūsdienās pastāv jau vairākas reljefa ģenerēšanas programmas, tomēr tās ir dārgas un izvirza augstas prasības datora veiktspējai. The oxa-Diels–Alder (ODA) reaction of benzaldehyde with Danishefsky's diene in the presence of a [thiazolium][Cl] salt, as a model of an ionic liquid, has been studied within Molecular Electron Density Theory (MEDT) at the M06-2X/6-311G(d,p) computational level. The formation of two hydrogen bonds (HBs) between the thiazolium cation and the carbonyl oxygen of benzaldehyde modifies neither the electrophilic character of benzaldehyde nor its electronic structure substantially but accelerates the reaction considerably. This ODA reaction presents an activation energy of 4.5 kcal mol−1; the formation of the only observed dihydropyranone is strongly exothermic by −28.8 kcal mol−1. The presence of…

Abstract We study the Hilbert function and the graded Betti numbers for “generic” linear quotients of Artinian standard graded algebras, especially in the case of Weak Lefschetz algebras. Moreover, we investigate a particular property of Weak Lefschetz algebras, the Betti Weak Lefschetz Property, which makes possible to completely determine the graded Betti numbers of a generic linear quotient of such algebras.

Abstract Prior studies predominantly use cross-sectional designs to determine effects of pro-environmental beliefs on green purchasing attitudes, thereby limiting the possibility for causal inferences and examining mediation effects. Floods are among the most widespread of natural disasters and exposure to floodwaters increases drowning risk. A leading cause of flood related drowning deaths is driving through flooded waterways. Drawing on the Theory of Planned Behaviour, a two-phased research program was conducted. Phase 1 (N = 25; Mage = 32.38, SD = 11.46) identified common beliefs about driving through a flooded waterway. Tutkin pro gradu -työssäni S2-oppijoiden käsityksiä englannin kielen käytöstä ja asemasta Suomessa. Aiemmat tutkimukset englannin kielen käytöstä ja asemasta Suomessa ovat keskittyneet suomalaisten äidinkielenpuhujien käsityksiin. Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena on selvittää minkälaisia käsityksiä S2-oppijoilla on englannin käytöstä ja asemasta Suomessa sekä heidän omassa elämässään että yleisemmällä tasolla. Lisäksi tutkin S2-oppijoiden asenteita englannin kieltä kohtaan. Changes in fish communities due to benthic habitat shifts under ocean acidification conditions

Ocean acidification will likely change the structure and function of coastal marine ecosystems over coming decades. Volcanic carbon dioxide seeps generate dissolved CO2 and pH gradients that provide realistic insights into the direction and magnitude of these changes. Here, we used fish and benthic community surveys to assess the spatio-temporal dynamics of fish community properties off CO2 seeps in Japan. Adding to previous evidence from ocean acidification ecosystem studies conducted elsewhere, our findings documented shifts from calcified to non-calcified habitats with reduced benthic complexity.
