Although volcanic eruptions represent short periods in the whole history of a volcano, the large amount of loose pyroclastic material produced, combined with aeolian processes, can lead to continuous, long-lasting reworking of volcanic products. Driven by wind, these processes significantly influence the geomorphology and prolong the impacts of eruptions on exposed communities and ecosystems. Abstract The paper aims to capture a form of naturalism that can be found “built-in” in phenomenology, namely the idea to take science or mathematics on its own, without postulating extraneous normative “molds” on it. The paper offers a detailed comparison of Penelope Maddy’s naturalism about mathematics and Husserl’s approach to mathematics in Formal and Transcendental Logic (1929). It argues that Maddy’s naturalized methodology is similar to the approach in the first part of the book. Šī darbā tika pētīts saistījums starp sportistu rezultātu pašnovērtējumu un viņu emocionālo stāvokli (depresijas un trauksmes smagums), kā arī viņu raksturu, balstoties uz “liela piecinieka” vērtējumiem. Darbā tika veikts literatūras pārskats un analīze par eksistējošiem depresijas, trauksmes, “liela piecinieka” un saistītiem ar sportu testiem, un balstoties uz šo tika formulētas hipotēzes, kā arī izstrādāts un eksperimentāli testēts rīks emociju izsekošanai. Maģistra darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pacienti, kuri pētījuma brīdī bija ievietoti slimnīcā, pēc medicīnas apmeklējuma izjūt mazāk trauksmi, uzrāda mazāk depresijas pazīmes un vairāk izjūt pozitīvās emocijas nekā pacienti, kuri pētījuma brīdī arī bija ievietoti slimnīcā, bet viņus medicīnas klauns neapmeklēja. Pētījumā piedalījās 30 pusaudži vecumā no 12 līdz 15 gadiem, kas tika sadalīti divās grupās. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīga saistība starp piedzīvoto emocionālo un fizisko vardarbību, un depresijas un trauksmes izteiktības pakāpi pusaudžu vecuma grupā. Pētījumā piedalījās 55 pusaudži no 3 vidusskolas klasēm. Respondenti bija vecumā no 17 līdz 18 gadiem. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp kompulsīvo ēšanu, emocionālo ēšanu, emociju regulācijas grūtībām un trauksmes rādītājiem sievietēm. Pētījumā piedalījušās 135 sievietes vecumā no 17 līdz 65 gadiem, internetā anonīmi aizpildot aptauju, kurā bija iekļauta Kompulsīvās ēšanas aptauja (The Compulsive Eating Scale (CES), Kagan & Squires, 1984), Emocionālās ēšanas aptauja (Emotional Eating Scale (EES); Arnow, Kenardy, & Agras, 1995), aptauja emociju regulācijas grūtību noteikšanai (Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale DERS, Gratz & Roemer, 2004), un Distresa tolerances aptauja (Distress Tolerance Scale (DTS; Simons and Gaher 2005).
