Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt saistību starp emocionālo intelektu un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju izvēli strādājošu un nestrādājošu studentu izlasēs. Pētījumā piedalījās 67 studējoši respondenti vecumā no 20 līdz 35 gadiem, vecuma intervālos: no 20 līdz 25 gadi (N=32), no 25 līdz 30 gadi (N=14), no 30 līdz 35 gadi (N=21). Respondentu sadalījums pa dzimumiem sievietes (N=54) un vīrieši (N=13). Respondenti ir strādājoši un nestrādājoši studenti, kuri mācās bakalaura programmās. Pētījumā tika pielietotas divas aptaujas: Stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja un Emocionālā intelekta aptauja. This dissertation explores how professional identity is experienced by teachers in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) instruction. In particular, it addresses professional identity in relation to two immediate contexts of teacher activity, i.e. that of the classroom and that of the collegial community. In addition to exploring how these two sides of the professional self give rise to a broader understanding of professional identity, this dissertation also explores aspects of professional agency and the negotiation of emotions in their work. Considering the limited attention paid to interpersonal aspects of emotions, this study explored coaches’ perceptions of athletes’ performance-related states and how they used this information for its regulation. Using a case study approach, three coach-athlete dyads from competitive tennis took part in one-on-one semi-structured interviews. Individualized profiling of psychobiosocial states was used to assess athletes’ states in most and least successful performances and as a way of data triangulation. The purpose of the study was to examine the validity of core action elements and feeling states in ice hockey players in the prediction of performance. A second aim of the study was to explore the effectiveness of a 30-day program targeting action and emotion regulation. Participants were male ice hockey players drawn from two teams competing at the highest level of the junior Finnish ice hockey league. They were assigned to a self-regulation (n = 24) and a control (n = 19) group.
