In Brussels in 1549 Charles V commissioned four bronze and four marble sculptures from Leone Leoni, to which were added new orders. The sculptor worked on them, especially the bronzes, in Milan, and they were shipped to Spain along with other works at the time of the arrival of the Emperor and the Court. This article discusses the history and evolution of the marbles and a bust (Prado Museum: E-260, E-262, E-267, E-269, E-291), which were sent from Genoa to Cartagena, where they remained until 1568. In questo lavoro si è condotto uno studio degli effetti dell’invecchiamento idrotermico sulla tenacità alla frattura interlaminare in Modo I di laminati in composito CFRP con lay-up unidirezionale. I pannelli realizzati impiegano una resina epossidica DGEBA. Provini DCB sono stati ricavati in accordo con la norma ASTM D5528. Prove dinamico meccaniche DMTA sono state condotte per analizzare l’influenza dell’invecchiamento sulla temperatura di transizione vetrosa, e quindi sul grado di fragilità della matrice. Aquesta anàlisi intenta mostrar com el populisme ha donat suport als particularismes lingüístics a València i a Mallorca. Aquests particularismes (anomenats blaverisme a València, i gonellisme a Mallorca) no reconeixen la unitat de la comunitat lingüística catalana, i per tant amenacen la recuperació social (normalització) de la llengua catalana.

Predominance of inductive over resonance substituent effect on33S NMR chemical shifts of 4-substituted phenyl-4′-methylphenacyl sulfones

33S NMR chemical shifts have been determined for the first time for a series of 10 substituted phenacyl sulfones. Electron-withdrawing and electron-releasing substituents in 4-substituted phenyl-4′-methylphenacyl sulfones, p-MeC6H4COCH2SO2C6H4R-p, cause a ‘reverse’ substituent effect on the 33S NMR resonance. Dual-substituent parameter (DSP) analysis of δ(33S) values revealed that the inductive effect of the substituent predominates over its resonance effect. This finding shows that the 33S NMR chemical shifts are of importance in estimating the electronic properties of sulfur-containing compounds.
