New bronchodilators selected by molecular topology.

Molecular topology has been applied to find new lead compounds with bronchodilator activity. Among the selected compounds stands out 3-(1H-tetrazol-5yl)-9H-thioxanthene-9 -one-10,10-dioxide, anthrarobin, 9-oxo-9H-thioxantene-3-carboxylic-10,10-dioxide acid, acenocoumarol and griseofulvin, with a percentage of relaxation, at 0.1 mM, of 91, 92, 85, 69, and 74%, respectively. Theophylline shows a correspondent value of 77% (Emax = 100% at 1 mM).

Este trabajo analiza algunos de los principales textos jurídicos que regulan el enjuiciamiento y castigo de los crímenes más graves en el derecho medieval inglés y su plasmación en la obra literaria de Geoffrey Chaucer. Se estudian también algunos rasgos fundamentales del marco jurídico de estos crímenes entre los siglos xii y xiv; se ejemplifican las especialidades procesales de estos delitos mediante el análisis del juicio y ejecución de Hugh Le Despenser (1286-1326); y se explora el tema de la violación desde la perspectiva que ofrecen la vida y obra de Geoffrey Chaucer, con especial atención a Los cuentos de Canterbury. The contribution deals with the origin of the particular place assigned in the Paraphrase of Theophilos to Obligations in relation to the Institutional System ‘personae-res-actiones’. The Author suggests that the displacement of Obligations from the field of the res to the field of the actiones and the representation of Obligations as “mothers of actions”, instead of deriving from an existing idea of Theophilos or from a general byzantine view, is influenced by some passages of the Justinian’s Institutions.
