Crystal structure of the tripeptideN-(benzyloxycarbonyl)glycylglycyl-L-norvaline

The title tripeptide, C17H23N3O6, contains a nonproteinogenic C-terminal amino acid residue, norvaline, which is an isomer of the amino acid valine. Norvaline, unlike valine, has an unbranched side chain. The molecule has a Gly–Gly segment which adopts an extended conformation. The norvaline residue also adopts an extended backbone conformation while its side chain has ag+tconformation. In the crystal lattice, N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds stabilize the packing. Molecules translated along the crystallographicaaxis associate through an N—H...O hydrogen bond. The remaining three hydrogen bonds are between molecules related by a21screw axis.

A partire dal 1561 nel complesso benedettino di San Martino delle Scale, presso Palermo, si avvia la costruzione di una nuova chiesa, portata a compimento e inaugurata soltanto nel 1602. Una variegata documentazione d’archivio restituisce i principali passaggi del tormentato iter esecutivo dell’opera, articolato in più tappe che vedono l’avvicendarsi di diversi sodalizi di maestri costruttori al vertice del cantiere. ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to assess stakeholder orientation and corporate social responsibility (CSR) communication strategies in the business groups (BGs) of an emerging economy by means of content analysis. We worked with 30 non-financial BGs taken from the Colombian Stock Exchange. The study uses as its unit of analysis corporate reports that have been classified into four categories: annual reports (ARs), sustainability reports (SRs), combined reports (CRs), and integrated reports (IRs). Reliable Correlational Cuing While Controlling for Most-Recent-Pairing Effects.

Irrelevant aspects of the environment or irrelevant attributes of task-relevant stimuli can have important and reliable effects on behavior. When the specific values of an irrelevant stimulus attribute are correlated with different responses, a correlational-cuing effect is observed: faster and more accurate responses when the correlation is positive than when it is negative. Previous work has shown that this effect is not due to simple differences in how often the specific stimuli are being presented, and most explanations of the effect have stressed the clear parallels with classical associative learning. En el presente artículo nos proponemos realizar una comparación de la posición de D’Agostino con la de otro de los representantes del convencionalismo: William Morgan. A D’Agostino nos referiremos en el primer apartado y a Morgan en el segundo. Nos preguntaremos si Morgan, además de inscribir sus tesis dentro del convencionalismo, participa al mismo tiempo de la concepción internalista del deporte. The Sense of Belonging to the Country: Integrative Relationships and Spatiotemporal Commitment

The satisfaction of the need to belong reflects in the sense of being an integrative part of the group or social system. There is some lack of empirical evidence for the structure of this sense at the macro level. This study assessed a two-dimensional model of the sense of belonging to the country, which included relational and spatiotemporal components. Participants were 539 university students from 18 to 50 (74% females). Questions regarding involvement, perceived acceptance, sense of commonality, and feeling at home represented the relational component of the sense of belonging.
