Tourism is a mass phenomenon, and as a result, the number of accommodation capacities has increased enormously in recent years, especially in hotel groups, whether integrated or voluntary. Currently, a large part of hotel chains has subsidiaries around the world and covers major aspects of international tourism demand through their own distribution systems. Under these circumstances, this paper aims to analyse the global evolution of the main hotel chains, while also presenting performance issues, including average daily rate (ADR), and occupancy rate.

The goal of this study is to provide a model of high-performing small and medium-sized companies to address the new environmental challenges in traditional manufacturing industries. Adopting a configurational logic and following an inductive approach based on four high-performing firms, this paper provides new empirical evidence on how the steps followed by these firms are adjusted to the high-performance models prescribed by the literature. This paper addresses traffic modeling issues at urban multi-lane roundabouts where, despite circulating vehicles have priority, negotiation of the right-of-way can occur between antagonist traffic flows, as a result of minor drivers’ failing to obey the nominal operating rule (stop or yield control). With the development of electrical stimulation technology, traditional transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) technology has been found to have the drawback of not targeting a specific area accurately. Studies have shown that optimizing the number and position of electrodes during electrical stimulation has a very good effect on enhancing brain stimulation accuracy. The Article analyses the recent developments of the Italian jurisprudence, regarding the effects of the offer of the job performance, in the cases in which it is illegally refused by the employer. The theory, according to which in such cases the workers can obtain only a compensation for damages, and not the entire salary, has been reconsidered. In such situations, the workers can nowadays obtain the entire pay, unless a special rule establishes differently. According to the Author’s opinion, the special rules actually existing could determine the unconstitutionality of the regulation on the refusal of the job performance, when a transfer of undertakings is later declared void.

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo la reconstrucción de la historia del gremio de San Eloy de Santiago de Compostela en el siglo XIX, tema sobre el que todavía no existe ningún estudio.
