Neviendabīgu integrētu datu avotu evolūcija ir kļuvusi par aktuālu problēmu, jo dati mūsdienās ir ļoti daudzveidīgi un to mainība ir dinamiska. Šī iemesla dēļ nepieciešams atrast veidus, kā datus no dažādiem datu avotiem maksimāli efektīvi apkopot un uzkrāt, apstrādājot arī datu struktūrās evolūcijas rezultātā radušās izmaiņas. Darba mērķis ir atrast risinājumu, kā apstrādāt neviendabīgu integrētu datu avotu evolūcijas rezultātā radušās izmaiņas un adaptēt tās sistēmā. Subsurface nitrate reduction under wetlands takes place in narrow superficial zones

This study aims to investigate the depth distribution of the Nitrate Reduction Potential (NRP) on a natural and a re-established wetland. The obtained NRP provides a valuable data of the driving factors affecting denitrification, the Dissimilatory Nitrate Reduction to Ammonium (DNRA) process and the performance of a re-established wetland. Intact soil cores were collected and divided in slices for the determination of Organic Matter (OM) through Loss of Ignition (LOI) as well as Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC) and NRP spiking nitrate in batch tests. High Nitrogen Removal in a Constructed Wetland Receiving Treated Wastewater in a Cold Climate

Constructed wetlands provide cost-efficient nutrient removal, with minimal input of human labor and energy, and their number is globally increasing. However, in northern latitudes, wetlands are rarely utilized, because their nutrient removal efficiency has been questioned due to the cold climate. Here, we studied nutrient retention and nitrogen removal in a boreal constructed wetland (4-ha) receiving treated nitrogen-rich wastewater. On a yearly basis, most of the inorganic nutrients were retained by the wetland. The highest retention efficiency was found during the ice-free period, being 79% for ammonium-nitrogen (NH4+-N), 71% for nitrate-nitrogen (NO3--N), and 88% for phosphate-phosphorus…

Background. The Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) is a major pest and a serious threat to potato cultivation throughout the northern hemisphere. Despite its high importance for invasion biology, phenology and pest management, little is known about L. decemlineata from a genomic perspective. We subjected European L. decemlineata adult and larval transcriptome samples to 454-FLX massively-parallel DNA sequencing to characterize a basal set of genes from this species. Stegobium paniceum (L.) (Coleoptera: Anobiidae), also named drugstore beetle, is one of the major pests for a wide variety of dry and durable stored products. Females of this species produce a sex pheromone, (2S,3R,1’R)-Stegobinone that attracts males and elicit precopulatory searching behaviour. However, (2S,3R,1’R)-Stegobinone has eight possible isomers which are produced during its chemical synthesis and one of them inhibiting the pheromone activity, the (2S,3R,1'S)-Stegobinone form. Šajā darbā tiek pētīti trīs ETL rīki Pentaho, Talend, CloverDX un to problēmas, datu transformāciju implementācijas, un risinājuma izvēle. Šis bakalaura darbs “ETL rīku funkcionalitātes pielāgošanas iespējas datu avotu izmaiņām” tika izstrādāts ar mērķi dot lasītājam ieskatu, kas ir ETL rīki, un kādas ir iespējamās opcijas rīka funkcionalitātes pielāgošanai lietotāja interesēs. Darba teorētiskajā daļā ir aprakstīts, kas ir ETL process, kā tas funkcionē un kādas ir tā galvenās trīs daļas Darba praktiskajā daļā ir veidoti rīku funkcionalitātes pielāgošana dažādās kļūdas iespējamajās situācijās. Darba noslēgumā apkopoti ETL rīku testēšanas rezultāti un apkopoti kādi secinājumi gūti darba izstrādes laikā.
