Aim: Ongoing climate warming has been widely reported to delay autumn phenology, which in turn impacts carbon, water, energy and nutrient balances at regional and global scales. However, the underlying mechanisms of autumn phenology responses to climate change have not been fully elucidated. The aims of this study were to determine whether brightening that was defined as the increase of surface solar radiation and warming during recent decades affect autumn phenology in opposite directions and explore the underlying mechanisms. Artykuł jest poświęcony Fridzie Kahlo. Meksykańska malarka współcześnie jest znana głównie z przekazów jako żona wielkiego muralisty Diega Rivery, czy też kobieta romansująca z Lwem Trockim. Pomija się jednakże jej świadomą postawę polityczną, która materializowała się w jej twórczości, ale i np. w praktykach edukacyjnych. Za sprawą kategorii polityczności można wyłuszczyć te polityczne elementy. Relacyjne nacechowanie tejże kategorii prowadzi do rozpoznania kluczowego kontekstu, jakim była rewolucja meksykańska, której program zarazem wyjaśnia polityczność sfer współzależnych ze sferą polityki, w tym sztuki i zaangażowania społecznego F. Red list of threatened vascular plants in Italy

Italy has a rich natural heritage, which is dangerously under pressure. In recent years, there is an increased awareness of the crucial role of plants in ecosystem functioning and in providing ecosystem services. Consequently, an updated Red List of the Italian vascular flora was compiled in this work, at the request of the Ministry for Environment, Land and Sea Protection, with the scientific support of the Italian Botanical Society. The IUCN Red List criteria were applied to 2,430 Italian native vascular plant taxa to assess their current extinction risk and to highlight the major threats affecting the Italian flora. IDPlanT: the Italian database of plant translocation

IDPlanT is the Italian Database of Plant Translocation, an initiative of the Nature Conservation Working Group of the Italian Botanical Society. IDPlanT currently includes 185 plant translocations. The establishment of a national database on plant translocation is a key step forward in data sharing and techniques improvement in this field of plant conservation. Background: Recent years have seen considerable effort in associating the shell evolution (SE) for a chain of isotones or isotopes with the underlying nuclear interactions. In particular, it has been fairly well established that the tensor part of the Skyrme interaction is indispensable for understanding certain SE above Z,N = 50 shell closures, as a function of nucleon numbers.
