Formy kobiecej pamięci o doświadczeniu wojennym utrwalone w literaturze pięknej w Bośni i Hercegowinie

2020

The memory of the experience of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992–1995) is a phenomenon strongly present in contemporary literature. The subject of my interest is the specificity of women’s memory, which is characterized primarily by anti‑war and anti‑military discourse, which is a fundamental feature of women’s writing about the war, breaking the patriarchal code (statement by Swietlana Aleksijewicz). A notable feature of women’s creativity in BiH is that the memory of war is revealed in it in two fundamentally different ways: 1. a direct description of war experiences and experiences is usually visible in the texts of the authors of the older generation (Alma Lazarevska; Jasmina Mus…

On the Choice of the Extracellular Vesicles for Therapeutic Purposes

2019

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are lipid membrane vesicles released by all human cells and are widely recognized to be involved in many cellular processes, both in physiological and pathological conditions. They are mediators of cell-cell communication, at both paracrine and systemic levels, and therefore they are active players in cell differentiation, tissue homeostasis, and organ remodeling. Due to their ability to serve as a cargo for proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, which often reflects the cellular source, they should be considered the future of the natural nanodelivery of bio-compounds. To date, natural nanovesicles, such as exosomes, have been shown to represent a source of diseas…

Extracellular Vesicle microRNAs Contribute to the Osteogenic Inhibition of Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Multiple Myeloma

2020

Osteolytic bone disease is the major complication associated with the progression of multiple myeloma (MM). Recently, extracellular vesicles (EVs) have emerged as mediators of MM-associated bone disease by inhibiting the osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs). Here, we investigated a correlation between the EV-mediated osteogenic inhibition and MM vesicle content, focusing on miRNAs. By the use of a MicroRNA Card, we identified a pool of miRNAs, highly expressed in EVs, from MM cell line (MM1.S EVs), expression of which was confirmed in EVs from bone marrow (BM) plasma of patients affected by smoldering myeloma (SMM) and MM. Notably,we found that miR-129-5p, whic…

LE VESCICOLE EXTRACELLULARI VEGETALI PER LO SVILUPPO DI NUOVI NUTRACEUTICI: STUDIO PRE-CLINICO E CLINICO DELLE PROPRIETÀ BIOLOGICHE DELLE VESCICOLE I…

2021

Polonica we wspomnieniach Zofii Kowalewskiej

2016

The present article focuses on Polish motifs in Sofya Kovalevskaya’s recollections. Kovalevskaya was a great 19th century Russian mathematician whose contributions were acknowledged throughout Europę during her lifetime. She was the first European woman to receive a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Gottingen, a professor at Stockholm University in Sweden, and the first female corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Besides her scientific activities, Kovalevskaya was also a writer and publicist. She is the author of a number of novels, poems, a play and autobiographical Recollections of Childhood. In one of the chapters, entitled “Polish Uprising Recollections…

Nežēlības teātra un zilo teorijas elementi 21. gs. latviešu teātrī : V. Meikšāna un V. Nastavševa piemēri

2020

1913

P. Šmita polemika par R. K. Krievijas vēstures grāmatu recenzijām mēnešrakstā "Druva", izsakot aizrādījumus recenzenta viedoklim, ka recenzentam nevajadzētu vairāk ļaut tajā publicēties.
