This study analyzes the various references to Italy in several sections of La Ilustración Española y Americana in order to assess the contribution of the magazine in the configuration of the reception of Italian culture in Spain in the late nineteenth century, through the newspaper and through network of textual features associated therewith. Este estudio analiza las diferentes referencias a Italia en varias de las secciones de La Ilustración Española y Americana con el fin de evaluar la contribución de revista en la configuración de la recepción de la cultura italiana en España a finales del siglo xix, a través del medio periodístico y de la red de rasgos textuales con él relacionada.

Molecular organization of a water-insoluble iridium(III) complex in mixed monolayers.

Abstract In this work, organized mixed monolayers containing a cationic water-insoluble iridium(III) complex, Ir-dye, [Ir(ppy)2(tmphen)]PF6, (tmphen = 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, and ppy = 2-phenylpyridine), and an anionic lipid matrix, DMPA, dimyristoyl-phosphatidic acid, with different molar proportions, were formed by the co-spreading method at the air–water interface. The presence of the dye at the interface, as well as the molecular organization of the mixed films, is deduced from surface techniques such as π – A isotherms, Brewster angle microscopy (BAM) and reflection spectroscopy. Langmuir monolayers and Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of the decatungstoeuropate [Eu(W(5)O(18))(2)](9-) (EuW(10)) and the amphiphilic Ir complex 1 have been successfully fabricated by using the adsorption properties of the EuW(10) polyanion dissolved in the aqueous subphase onto a positively charged 1 monolayer at the air-water interface. The compression isotherms and Brewster angle microscopy (BAM) of monolayers of 1 on pure water (1 monolayer) and on a subphase containing 10(-6) M EuW(10) and 10(-3) M NaCl (1/EuW(10) monolayer) have been studied. Objective: To synthesize the evidence across longitudinal studies comparing survival in dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and Alzheimer's disease (AD). Methods: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of studies comparing survival in clinically diagnosed DLB to AD. Longitudinal cohort studies were identified through a systematic search of major electronic databases from inception to May 2018. A random effects meta-analysis was performed to calculate survival time and relative risk of death. Following the liberation of Western concentration camps, especially Buchenwald (11 April) and Bergen-Belsen (15 April), newspapers in Europe reported a story of cruelty that seemed to surpass every other atrocity story they had told before. Background Disturbances in pancreatic microcirculation, beginning with vasoconstriction, are crucial in early pancreatitis and progression to necrotizing pancreatitis. Thus, vascular-targeted treatment aiming to restore a sufficient level of microcirculation through vasodilation would possibly reduce the severity of pancreatitis. Lidocaine is an anti-arrhythmic and local anesthetic drug, which also acts as a vasodilator at higher concentrations.
