The electroweak sector of the Standard Model can be formulated in a way similar to Chiral Perturbation Theory (ChPT), but extended by a singlet scalar. The resulting effective field theory (EFT) is called Higgs-Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian (EWCh$\mathcal{L}$) and is the most general approach to new physics in the Higgs sector. It solely assumes the pattern of symmetry breaking leading to the three electroweak Goldstone bosons (i.e. massive $W$ and $Z$) and the existence of a Higgs-like scalar particle. Triaxial testing of argillaceous rocks and shales is significantly more challenging than conventional rock mechanical testing. The challenges are mainly related to the very low permeability of these geomaterials, and their sensitivity to exposure of atmosphere and brines, which induces variations of water content, suction and effective stress. La atrofia ósea severa del maxilar superior compromete e incluso, en ocasiones, impide la colocación de implantes. Con la expansión ósea mediante osteodilatadores se evita usar instrumentos rotatorios, no se produce calor ni se elimina hueso y se simplifica el tratamiento quirúrgico permitiendo la colocación de fijaciones sin recurrir a tratamientos más complejos. International audience; A detailed study of reduction potentials, electroreduction mechanisms and acid-base chemistry was carried out on two series of free-base porphyrins in nonaqueous media. The first series is represented by four-pyrrole substituted tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) derivatives, two of which are planar and two of which are nonplanar in their non-protonated form. The second comprises porphyrins with 0-4 meso-phenyl groups on the macrocycle. Equilibrium constants for conversion of each neutral porphyrin to its diprotic [H4P] 2+ form were determined and the electrochemistry was then elucidated as a function of: (i) type of nonaqueous solvent, (ii) anion of supporting electrolyte, …
The non-Gaussian distribution of galaxies gravitational fields

We perform a theoretical analysis of the observational dependence between angular momentum of the galaxy clusters and their mass (richness), based on the method introduced in our previous paper. For that we obtain the distribution function of astronomical objects (like galaxies and/or smooth halos of different kinds) gravitational fields due to their tidal interaction. Within the statistical method of Chandrasekhar we are able to show that the distribution function is determined by the form of interaction between objects and for multipole (tidal) interaction it is never Gaussian. Charge fluctuations and electric mass in a hot meson gas

Net-Charge fluctuations in a hadron gas are studied using an effective hadronic interaction. The emphasis of this work is to investigate the corrections of hadronic interactions to the charge fluctuations of a non-interacting resonance gas. Several methods, such as loop, density and virial expansions are employed. The calculations are also extended to SU(3) and some resummation schemes are considered. Although the various corrections are sizable individually, they cancel to a large extent. As a consequence we find that charge fluctuations are rather well described by the free resonance gas.
