The activity was applied within the World Economy subject in the degree of Business Administration. The main aim of this teaching proposal is to discuss some current issues and events in the international economic context which likely are not addressed in the syllabus. AbstractThis study develops a decision-making procedure to help policymakers compare alternative patterns for sustainable diets by reaching a compromise among three criteria: socio-economic perspective, health and environment (including carbon and water footprints). An Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was performed in several stages. Hundreds of empirical studies claim to either prove or disprove the EMH by means of a number of heterogeneous methods. [EN] Objective: To perform a comparative analysis of indirect and direct costs of two minimally invasive techniques (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) vs. ureteroscopy with holmium laser (URS/RIRS)) for the treatment of renal/ureteral calculi smaller than 2 cm. Material and methods: Prospective, comparative, non-randomized study of 84 patients treated for kidney stones smaller than 2 cm between January and December 2016. The following work will provide further insights into the influence of European Emission Allowance (EUA) prices on carbon dioxide trends and relevant variables of the economic-financial climate-environmental system considering a large set of time series. The methodological approach will employ Hierarchical Vector Autoregression by W. B. Nicholson et al. (2020) deal with a high-dimensional context. This study examines the evolution in development of Intra-European Union agri-food export during the period 2000–2011. By using Data Envelopment Window Analysis, this paper at first provides a more comprehensive picture on agri-food trade performance of sampled New Member States, focusing the attention on the pre and post phase of the enlargement process.
