Abstract Aspects of family business succession process are many times neglected during the life of the founder or the generation that must be getting ready for the hand-off. The paper is allowing even to a rude observer to understand the importance, the concepts, the typology and the implications of following a specific learning pathway and choosing a particular category of successor (insider or outsider), starting from situations where inside-family succession is preferable. Este artigo descreve o conhecimento tático declarativo (CTD) apresentado por treinadores de tênis considerando: a socialização pré-profissional; escolaridade; nível de jogo; experiência com a modalidade como tenista e treinador; e local de atuação profissional. A amostra contou com 31 treinadores, homens, das cidades de Cuiabá e Londrina, com idade média de 34,3±8,6, nível de jogo de primeira ou segunda classe nas federações estaduais, caracterizados por atuarem como treinadores há 10 anos ou mais e graduados ou pós-graduados em Educação Física. The article intends to make a contribution of new documentary references, from the notarial funds of the Valencian archives, in which news about parish crosses and Lignum Crucis from the silversmith center of Valencia during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries are collected. The word 'should' undoubtedly raises a normative issue, and also the use of 'one' to refer to whoever may be subject to the corresponding normative demand. Choice of such words is hardly neutral and betrays a certain philosophical stance that, I hope, further considerations in this book will reasonably ground.
Mobile agents and knowledge discovery in ubiquitous computing

Publisher Summary This chapter discusses a knowledge discovery strategy to be performed by mobile agents in an augmented reality (AR) scenario. AR entities are implemented by mobile agents who perform all the behaviors of cooperating entities. Among other tasks, mobile agents implement a resource discovery strategy, which is aimed at filling lacking entities with missing methods and knowledge rules.
