Professional educators and burnout

In recent years the risk of developing a burnout syndrome among workers in the helping professions has been clearly stated. Although burnout syndrome, in fact, is threatening different professional activities, incidence was reported higher in sanitary and social professions. In this work the risk of developing a Burnout syndrome was evidenced to occur in Educators working in the socio-sanitary area. Causal relationships where indicated not only in the working context and in the peculiar characteristic of the patients, but also in the precarious, from the juridical point of view, working conditions.

En este trabajo se analiza la formación científica y de didáctica de las ciencias experimentales que proponen los formadores de maestros y maestras de educación primaria, y si la metodología indagatoria está presente en dichas propuestas. RESUMEN En este artículo se lleva a cabo una revisión descriptiva de la literatura que permite dar a conocer qué es el Conocimiento Didáctico del Contenido -CDC- en ciencias y qué se ha investigado sobre el mismo. En concreto, se analiza: a) cómo se define, qué características tiene y cómo se ha determinado en los profesores; b) su relación con el conocimiento de la materia a enseñar y con el aprendizaje de los estudiantes; c) cómo se ha utilizado en la formación y evaluación del profesorado; y d) en qué temas científicos se ha estudiado.
