High-resolution FTIR spectra analysis of sulfur dioxide isotopologues

In this thesis we considered the spectral properties of the sulfur dioxide. The experimental FTIR spectra of numerous sulfur dioxide isotopologues, 32S16O2, 34S16O2, 32S18O2 and 32S16O18O, were first recorded in the regions of fundamental, «hot», combination and overtone bands. The wide variability of the experimental conditions gave possibility to observe and identify for the first time transitions be¬ longing to the following of ro-vibrational bands: 3v2, 3v2 - v2, 2v2 - v2 bands of 32S16O2; 2v2 - v2 band of 34S16O2; v1 + v2, v2 + v3, v1 + v3, 2v1, 2v3 bands of 32S18O2; v1, v3, 2v1, v1 + v3, 2v3 bands of 32S16O18O. Polymer-metal plasmonic waveguide : passive and active components for integrated photonics

Dielectric loaded surface plasmon polariton waveguides (DLSPPWs) enable transmission at a sub-wavelength scale of both electrical and plasmonic (optical waves at the interface between a metal and a dielectric) signals in the same circuitry. Moreover, the use of a polymer as the dielectric load enables the functionalization of DLSPPWs. Therefore, this configuration is of great interest for integrated photonic applications. Higher Education in France has undergone deep reaching changes within the last ten years. Enrollment has increased rather fast, much more than the European average (plus 60 versus plus 30 per cent). Universities have diversified their streams, thereby blurring the traditional division between them and the non university sector. The professional content of studies has been reinforced. Social demand explains part of theses changes but the main causal factor is a strongly volontary public policy.
