Lack of Accredited Clinical Training in Movement Disorders in Europe, Egypt, and Tunisia.
2020
BACKGROUND: Little information is available on the official postgraduate and subspecialty training programs in movement disorders (MD) in Europe and North Africa.OBJECTIVE: To survey the accessible MD clinical training in these regions.METHODS: We designed a survey on clinical training in MD in different medical fields, at postgraduate and specialized levels. We assessed the characteristics of the participants and the facilities for MD care in their respective countries. We examined whether there are structured, or even accredited postgraduate, or subspecialty MD training programs in neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine, geriatrics, neuroradiology, neuropediatrics, and general practic…
Discourses of otherness : representations of Egyptian actors in international media
2012
Tutkimuksen kohteena on kaksi välikohtausta käsittelevää uutisartikkelia, ”Egypt's Human Wrongs” American Spectatorista ja ”Copts: a question for Egypt” Le Monde Diplomatiquesta. Valtarakenteita mediadiskurssissa analysoitiin kriittisen diskurssintutkimuksen ja Edward Saidin postkolonialistisen teorian avulla. Erityishuomiota kiinnitettiin sanavalintoihin ja lainauksiin. Analyysissä selvisi että American Spectator rep…
Gli oracoli di distruzione contro l’Egitto Ez 29–32 alla luce della retorica ebraica
2021
Commentators of the Book of Ezekiel achieved different results when it comes to the structures of the oracle. This was the context of the research undertaken. The aim was to develop the structures of the oracle according to the scientific method by Roland Meynet. The research was based on «analysis of the biblical text by the method of Hebrew rhetoric». As a result of the research, it was discovered that there are six (rather than seven) oracles. The first three oracles have parallel structures, the next three have parallel-concentric structures. It was also possible to discover numerical systems that either confirm the content of the text or introduce new information that is not written in…
Deepening Inside the Pictorial Layers of Etruscan Sarcophagus of Hasti Afunei: An Innovative Micro-Sampling Technique for Raman/SERS Analyses
2019
The Hasti Afunei sarcophagus is a large Etruscan urn, made up of two chalky alabaster monoliths. Dated from the last quarter of the third century BC, it was found in 1826 in the small town of Chiusi (Tuscany- Il Colle place) by a landowner, Pietro Bonci Casuccini, who made it part of his private collection. The noble owner&rsquo
Estudios estratégicos para la lucha contra la fascioliasis humana a nivel mundial = Strategic studies for the fight against de human fascioliasis wor…

Fascioliasis is a zoonotic parasitic disease caused by Fasciola hepatica and F. gigantica. Emergence of human fascioliasis prompted a worldwide control initiative including a pilot study in several countries. Given the necessity to characterize the fasciolid populations involved, the overall aim of the present research is, first, the phenotypic characterization of faciolid adults and eggs implicated in human endemic areas, where this initiative has been implemented, through a computer image analysis system (CIAS) applied on the basis of standardized measurements. Second, new immunological techniques and their potential use as immunological diagnostic tests in those areas are evaluated. The …
Effect of an insect growth regulator (halofenozide) on the cuticular hydrocarbons of Culex pipiens larvae
2013
The cuticular hydrocarbons of the fourth-instar larvae of Culex pipiens aged one and six days were analysed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The effect of an insect growth regulator (halofenozide = RH-0345) on the cuticular hydrocarbons was evaluated using newly moulted fourth-instar larvae of C. pipiens, at the lethal concentrations (LC50 = 12.58 and LC90 = 28.58 mu g/l). A previous study revealed that RH-0345 is toxic to larvae of C. pipiens by induction of precocious larval moulting. Several cuticular hydrocarbons (CHCs) were identified and many of the other compounds remained unknown. Our data show that the CHC classes consisted of n-alkanes (C23-C29) and …
Trzy poziomy struktur i kompozycja w wyroczniach przeciw Egiptowi Księga Ezechiela rozdziały 29–32 w świetle retoryki hebrajskiej
2022
