Studies to date about plants alien to Italy have had limited focus on the ecology of this component of the flora. Ellenberg's indicator values are a useful tool to delineate the relationship between plants and environment, recognizing for each species a functional role as biological indicator; these values have been proposed for estimating the influence of the main environmental factors in determining flora and vegetation changes on a specific surface area. Ellenberg’s indicator values are an useful tool to delineate the relationship between plants and environment, recognising to each species a functional role as biological indicator. In the frame of the second edition of the Pignatti’s “Flora d’Italia”, some new informative systems are under preparations, in order to support geobotanical/applied studies, including a complete and updated review of the Ellenberg’s indicator values for the whole bulk of species mentioned in the flora of Italy. Dažādu autoimūnas orbitopātijas ārstēšanas taktiku izvērtējums pacientiem ar Greivsa orbitopātiju

Greivsa slimība ir relatīvi bieži sastopama endokrinoloģiska patoloģija un Greivsa orbitopātija ir visbiežākā šīs slimības izpausme ārpus vairogdziedzera. Greivsa orbitopātija ir saistīta ar būtisku dzīves kvalitātes pasliktināšanos un tā var būt par iemeslu redzes zudumam, tādēļ būtiska ir adekvāta šīs slimības ārstēšana. Pētījuma uzdevumi bija noskaidrot, vai glikokortikoīdu terapija tiek piemērota pacientiem ar klīniski aktīvu Greivsa slimību (atbilstoši slimības vēsturēs fiksētajiem simptomiem un pazīmēm), kādi ir glikokortikoīdu ievades ceļi un kādas ir to ievades shēmas.
