Bakalaura darbā “Daiļliteratūras lasīšana drukātā un elektroniskā formātā” aplūkots, kā mūsdienu digitālajā laikmetā, kad ir pieejamas grāmatas gan tradicionālajā drukātajā, gan elektroniskajā formātā, cilvēki lasa daiļliteratūru. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā lasītājs uztver un atceras daiļliteratūras tekstu katrā no formātiem, un vai tas ietekmē lasīšanas materiāla izvēli, papildus nosakot citus faktorus, kas to ietekmē. Pētījuma sākumā izvirzītā hipotēze, ka tekstu drukātā formātā cilvēks atceras un uztver labāk nekā elektroniskajā, neapstiprinās. The metathetical reactions of a) [Li(tmeda)]2[(S)C(PPh2S)2] (Li2⋅3 c) with CuCl2 and b) [Li(tmeda)]2[(SPh2P)2CSSC(PPh2S)2] (Li2⋅4 c) with two equivalents of CuCl both afford the binuclear CuI complex {Cu2[(SPh2P)2CSSC(PPh2S)2]} (5 c). The elongated (C)S[BOND]S(C) bond (ca. 2.54 and 2.72 Å) of the dianionic ligand observed in the solid-state structure of 5 c indicate the presence of diradical character as supported by theoretical analyses. The treatment of [Li(tmeda)]2[(SPh2P)2CSeSeC(PPh2S)2] (Li2⋅4 b) and Li2⋅4 c with AgOSO2CF3 produce the analogous AgI derivatives, {Ag2[(SPh2P)2CEEC(PPh2S)2]} (6 b, E=Se; 6 c, E=S), respectively. In this thesis, the potential applications of DNA self-assembled structures were explored in both nanoelectronics and plasmonics. The works can be divided into two parts: electrical characterization of unmodified multilayered DNA origami and DNA-gold-nanoparticle conjugates after they were trapped between gold nanoelectrodes by dielectrophoresis, and the development of a novel fabrication method using DNA origami as a template for smooth, high resolution metallic nanostructures as well as optical characterization of them. Dielectrophoresis as an assembly method for carbon nanotube memory elements

The experiments described in this Master's thesis aim to assess the practicality of using dielectrophoresis (DEP) for assembling memory elements from carbon nanotubes (CNTs). These elements were field-effect transistors (FETs) with a wide hysteresis window. The devices assessed were made on a silicon substrate with a HfO2 - TiO2 - HfO2 gate dielectric layer to ensure a predictable hysteresis for memory operation. The FETs were used for further research in regard to environmental effects in their operation. Studentu apmaiņas programmas pastāvīgi turpina piesaistīt jaunus dalībniekus, tādējādi radot lielas kopienas, kuras veido studenti no visas pasaules. Šis pētījums ir vērsts uz koda maiņas izpēti mutiskajā un elektroniskajā apmaiņas studentu saziņā. Pētījuma mērķis ir salīdzināt koda maiņas funkciju lietojumu iepriekš minētajos saziņas veidos. Analīzes veikšanai tika izveidoti 2 korpusi, kas ietver apmaiņas studentu sarunas un Facebook Messenger sarakstes. Iepriekš ierakstītās studentu sarunas tika transkribētas, lai vēlāk veiktu diskursa analīzi. Straujiem soļiem attīstoties elektroniskās informācijas un tehnoloģijas jomai pasaulē arvien biežāk nākas saskarties ar elektroniskiem pierādījumiem kriminālprocesā. Latvijā elektroniskie pierādījumi kriminālprocesā nav nekāds jaunums un savu atzīšanu normatīvajos aktos guva 2005. gada 1. oktobrī, kad stājās spēkā Kriminālprocesa likums. Taču jau pagājušajā gadsimta 60. gados zinātne un prakse pieļāva to, ka pierādījums var būt fiksēts ne tikai tekstuālā formā, bet arī ar dažādu ierīču, aparātu un mašīnu palīdzību, kā arī foto, audio un video fiksāciju, jeb mūsdienu izpratnē – elektroniskie pierādījumi.
