Geochemical characterization of water quality in karst systems of Greece

Karst systems represent the main drinking water source for 20-25% of world’s population, although covering only 7-10% of the global land surface (Ford & Williams, 2007). Karst aquifers are highly vulnerable to external pollution, so their protection and management is of critical importance to sustain water resources. In Greece, starting from the 1970’s, water demands for agricultural, domestic and industrial use increased significantly, mainly in coastal areas (Daskalaki & Voudouris, 2008). W 1975 r. na polecenie UNESCO został opublikowany przez Międzynarodową Radę Wychowania Fizycznego i Sportu (CIEPS) Manifest o fair play (Mannifeste sur le fair play). Jest on apelem o przywrócenie sportowi wierności zasadzie fair play. Tekst manifestu odwołuje się do określonych wartości. Można w nim wskazać kilka aksjologicznych komponentów, m.in.: poszanowanie reguł, troskę o kompetencje oraz odpowiedzialność za drugiego człowieka. Świat jak z kreskówki - kuriozum animowanych postaci

Artykuł poświęcony jest charakterystyce kuriozalnych postaci z kreskówek emitowanych przede wszystkim przez stację Cartoon Network, a także Disney XD oraz telewizję Polsat. Analiza bohaterów tychże animacji miała wykrystalizować czynniki, które wpływają na pojawienie się pierwiastka niezwykłości, dziwaczności w kreskówkach. Tekst został podzielony na trzy części. Każda z nich poświęcona jest jednemu z warunków, który wpływa na postrzeganie bohaterów animacji przez pryzmat kuriozalności.

Darba tēma ir ar krāsām saistītu frazeoloģisko vienību (FV) tulkošana no spāņu uz latviešu valodu. Darba mērķis ir apkopot galveno teoriju par frazeoloģiju un tās tulkošanu, pielietot to glosārija veidošanā ar krāsām saistītu FV tulkojumiem no spāņu latviešu valodā, analizēt tulkošanas rezultātus, kā arī apskatīt tos no semantiskā aspekta. Galvenie secinājumi ir tādi, ka biežākie gadījumi konkrēto FV tulkojumos ir daļējas ekvivalences, kuri izraisa vislielākās grūtības, parādot problemātisko tulkošanas procesu. Zastosowanie metodyki audytu krajobrazowego do identyfikacji krajobrazów w skali lokalnej na przykładzie gminy Szczyrk

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki identyfikacji i oceny krajobrazów gminy Szczyrk. W badaniach zastosowano metodę audytu krajobrazowego i trzy kryteria delimitacji: ukształtowanie terenu, kompozycję przestrzenną oraz pokrycie terenu. Badania prowadzono na obszarze górskim, gdzie dotychczas metoda nie była testowana. Stwierdzono występowanie 58 jednostek krajobrazowych należących do 13 typów. Powierzchniowo dominują krajobrazy leśne. Układ jednostek nawiązuje do pięter klimatyczno-roślinnych. Wraz ze zwiększaniem skali badań maleją powierzchnie jednostek, nie maleje znacząco ich liczba. La investigación se desarrolla con 300 infantes de doce centros escolares de preescolar en cinco comunidades aledañas a los Manglares y Humedales de Tuxpan. El objetivo fue determinar si una intervención educativa cambia la percepción sobre su medio. Un tipus especial d'oracions interrogatives: les interrogatives escindides

This paper deals with the properties of interrogative sentences with a split constituent (or split interrogatives) in Catalan and Spanish. We compare split interrogatives with Wh-questions, yes/no questions, different kinds of confirmatory questions and clitic left dislocation constructions. Split interrogatives show a very clear-cut syntactic and phonological distinction between those constituents to be interpreted as shared or old information (theme) and the constituent which receives the focus of the sentence.
