Several studies have proposed that cannabidiol (CBD) could be a promising treatment for substance use disorders. In the present work, the authors describe the scarce preclinical and human research about the actions of CBD on the effects of stimulant drugs, mainly cocaine and methamphetamine (METH). A Group Intervention to Promote Resilience in Nursing Professionals: A Randomised Controlled Trial

In this study, a new group intervention program to foster resilience in nursing professionals was tested for efficacy. In total, 72 nurses were recruited and randomised to either an intervention condition or to a wait list control condition. The study had a pre-test, post-test, follow-up design. The eight-week program targeted six resilience factors: cognitive flexibility, coping, self-efficacy, self-esteem, self-care, and mindfulness. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between anxiety (cognitive- and somatic anxiety and self-confidence) and mental toughness, and top-class referees’ subjective experience on pressure as a soccer official. 183 top-class referees answered an online questionnaire. The foredeep deposits of Northern Sicily, indicated as Sicilidi units, have undergone different deformations' since Oligocene time. The resulting tectonic Structures, analysed in several outcrops in the Eastern Madonie Mts, are 1 cm-to- 100 m in scale and are similar to the larger structures forming the Sicily belt, allowing for scale extrapolation. Educational and psychological research in the past decade has found that metacognitive capacity starts earlier than was initially realized; is more amenable to educational intervention than was previously thought; can be taught to a wide range of learners; and is both inherently contextual and a unique capacity that is distinguishable from intelligence, cognitive processes and motivation.
