A systematic review and meta-analysis of the benefits of school-based, peer-led interventions for leaders

The aim of our systematic review and meta-analysis was to quantitatively synthesise the effects of school-based peer-led interventions on leaders’ academic, psychosocial, behavioural, and physical outcomes. Eligible studies were those that: (i) evaluated a school-based peer-led intervention using an experimental or quasi-experimental study design, (ii) included an age-matched control or comparison group, and (iii) evaluated the impact of the intervention on one or more leader outcomes. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt saistības starp pašcieņu, ķermeņa tēla uztveri un perfekcionismu vidusskolu izlaiduma klašu jauniešiem. Pētījumā tika izvirzīts jautājums: Kāda saistība pastāv starp pašcieņu, ķermeņa tēla uztveri un perfekcionismu vidusskolas izlaiduma klašu jauniešiem? Abstract Objectives Although parental burnout can have detrimental consequences to families, the investigation of the syndrome is still in its infancy. The present study investigated what are the key family background variables that contribute to parental burnout among Finnish parents. Moreover, we investigated how self-oriented and socially prescribed perfectionism uniquely and interactively relate to parental burnout over and above the impacts of background variables. La nostra ricerca ha correlato i processi di selfhandicapping con quelli connessi all’abbandono del percorso di studio. La procrastination è stata studiata come processo di co-stante rinvio degli impegni scolastici e delle occasioni di recupero. This research explored the conceptualisation of self-injurious behavior (SIB) in terms of similarities and differences amongst the two types of this behavior. It further explored the efficacy of a brief psychological intervention for SIB as well as the effect of a brief training in the assessment and treatment of SIB on the attitudes psychiatric personnel hold towards people who engage in SIB.
