Resumen: El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar el grado de satisfacción e interés que presenta el personal de investigación de las universidades españolas por las redes sociales como Twitter. Para ello, se han examinado los datos obtenidos mediante una encuesta online a unos 600 investigadores proactivos de la divulgación científica de 20 universidades españolas (2016). Para el análisis de los datos, se utilizó el test de independencia de Kruskal-Wallis. Assessment of Energy and Economic Effectiveness of Photovoltaic Systems Operating in a Dense Urban Context

A methodology that permits testing the level of integration of the photovoltaic technology in urban areas is presented. The percentage of coverage of the electricity demand of grid-connected photovoltaic systems installed on the roofs of buildings were investigated in a district of the city of Palermo (Sicily). After classifying roofs according to their shape, orientation and pitch by means of satellite images provided by Google Earth, the ratio of the productivity of the PV systems and the consumption of electricity of the households was analysed. The efficiency of a fluidized bed reactor depends on the bed fluid dynamic behavior, which is significantly influenced by the bubble properties. This work investigates the bubble properties of a bubbling fluidized bed reactor using computational particle fluid dynamic (CPFD) simulations and electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) measurements. Optimal power tracking for autonomous demand side management of electric vehicles

Increasing electric vehicle penetration leads to undesirable peaks in power if no proper coordination in charging is implemented. We tested the feasibility of electric vehicles acting as flexible demands responding to power signals to minimize the system peaks. The proposed hierarchical autonomous demand side management algorithm is formulated as an optimal power tracking problem.
