International audience; Le texte examine, à partir des résultats d'une enquête longitudinale portant sur 2 200 enfants, quels facteurs sont associés à la variabilité des acquisitions en fin de CP et quels sont leur poids respectif. Est notamment évaluée l'influence i) des facteurs personnels caractéristiques de l'élève (développement cognitif et langagier, comportement vis-à-vis de l'école) quand il aborde l'école élémentaire, ii) des facteurs caractéristiques de son milieu familial et iii) des différences dans le fonctionnement de l'école d'un lieu à l'autre d'enseignement.
