06041; Marie Duru-Bellat e Bruno Suchaut affrontano una delle questioni più delicate poste dalla misura dell'equità dell-istruzione, ossia la relazione tra l'embiente sociale, culturale e familiare (il contesto extrascolastico), il rendimento degli alunni a scuola e l'organizzazione dei cicli scolastici. L'esistenza di una correlazione fra queste dimensioni è comprovata in linea generale da centinaia d'indagini che pero non hanno permesso finora di giungere a conclusioni univoche sulla presenza di un rapporto causale tra fattori chiaramente identificati.

The last two decades have been marked in many developed and emerging countries by major educational reforms, around special themes: decentralization, the differentiation of courses and school content and the free choice of school. These three education policies, which aim to differentiate and diversify the educational offer, call into question the traditional organization of modern educational systems.
