Influence of Proton Conducting Cations on the Structure and Properties of 2D Anilate-Based Magnets

The syntheses, structures, magnetic, and proton conductivity properties of a family of bimetallic anilate-based compounds with inserted alkylammonium cations are presented. The structures of (Me2NH2)[MnIICrIII(Br2An)3]·2H2O (1), (Et2NH2)[MnIICrIII(Br2An)3] (2), (Et3NH)[MnIICrIII(Cl2An)3] (3), and [(Et)(i-Pr)2NH]-[MnIICrIII(Br2An)3]·(CHCl3)0.5·(H2O) (4) contain a 2D anionic network formed by Mn(II) and Cr(III) ions linked through anilate ligands. In 1, 2, and 3, the hexagonal holes of this network are occupied by Me2NH2+, Et2NH2+, or Et3NH+ cations. Light induced electron spin resonance in a-Ge:H

We report the observation of light-induced electron spin resonance (LESR) in amorphous hydrogenated germanium. Two new lines with zero crossings near g=2.01 and g=2.03 were detected and ascribed to electrons and holes in the conduction- and valence-band-tail states, respectively. The ratio between the LESR spin densities of both lines is approximately one, suggesting the absence of spin pairing, charge defect creation, or LESR of dangling bonds. The growth and decay spectra exhibit dispersive behavior with a dispersion parameter ∼0.5. The decay spectrum is best fit assuming bimolecular recombination. The LESR spin density depends weakly on the photogeneration rate as a sublinear power law.

We present a one per cent measurement of the cosmic distance scale from the detections of the baryon acoustic oscillations in the clustering of galaxies from the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS), which is part of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey III (SDSS-III). Our results come from the Data Release 11 (DR11) sample, containing nearly one million galaxies and covering approximately $8\,500$ square degrees and the redshift range $0.2<z<0.7$. We also compare these results with those from the publicly released DR9 and DR10 samples. Building on the legacy of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS-I and II), SDSS-III is a program of four spectroscopic surveys on three scientific themes: dark energy and cosmological parameters, the history and structure of the Milky Way, and the population of giant planets around other stars. In keeping with SDSS tradition, SDSS-III will provide regular public releases of all its data, beginning with SDSS DR8 (which occurred in Jan 2011). En este artículo se realiza una revisión de trabajos que han estudiado esta comorbilidad. Se revisaron un total de 28 investigaciones, estableciendo 4 temáticas diferentes. espanolObjetivo y metodo: se analiza si un grupo de maestros que tienen en el aula alumnos diagnosticados de trastornos del espectro del autismo (TEA) presentan un nivel mas elevado de estres que los que no los tienen. Los participantes (N=16) proceden de un centro publico de la Comunidad Valenciana. El instrumento utilizado es la Esca-la ED-6. Resultados: el estudio revela que los maestros que ensenan a ninos con TEA tienen un nivel de estres mayor que los maestros que trabajan con ninos sin necesidades especificas de apoyo educativo. Ocher and cinnabar in the argaric funerary record

The known cases of Bronze Age Argaric stained skeletons found in the Southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, have been analysed. The various hypotheses proposed relating to the origin of these colorations have been evaluated in light of new data provided by SEM, XRD and RAMAN spectroscopic analysis carried out on five Argaric graves of Murcia and Alicante. The results have indicated the presence of ochre and cinnabar on some of the skeletons. Without discarding the possibility that both substances were used in dyeing fabrics, it is proposed that their main use was for face and body make-up, being higher the number of recorded cases on female skeletons compared to male.
