Celem niniejszego artykułu jest naświetlenie stosunku jednego z nowych państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej - w tym wypadku Polski - do kwestii ambitnych planów w zakresie polityki klimatycznej i energetycznej na poziomie ponadnarodowym. The essay comments on the recent European legislation on a pan-European Personal Pension Product which aims to remedy the poor development of the market for these products also in the light of the welfare state's crisis. The essay criticizes some choices of the European legislator as they contrast with the objective of creating a single competitive market for pan-European individual pension products; the choices of the regulation on the protection of savers are also criticized, and finally the essay assume that as a consequence of the choices of the European legislator intermediaries will bear the costs of financial inclusion.

Kin competition often reduces – and sometimes entirely negates – the benefits of cooperation among family members. Na podstawie analizy przestrzennego rozmieszczenia parków narodowych i obszarów chronionego krajobrazu Polski (parki krajobrazowe), Czech, Słowacji i Węgier oceniono czy tworzone w poszczególnych krajach systemy ochrony przyrody i krajobrazu są reprezentatywne również dla prowincji fizycznogeograficznych w granicach państw. Stwierdzono znaczną reprezentatywność w prowincjach głównie górskich i wskazano na dalsze możliwości ochrony. Understanding politics as a contingent and controversial activity, politicisation refers to those activities that create or make visible the political quality in the phenomena in question. Parliamentarisation is a distinct strategy of politicisation. In this chapter, parliament refers to a certain procedural and institutional ideal type of acting politically. The parliamentary way of politicising acting and thinking forms a Gedankenbild, a mental image. It is an ideal type that one-sidedly accentuates and intensifies the political way of thinking.
