Integrative complexity (IC) refers to a psychological construct, a measurement, and an experience. As a construct IC refers to our less than conscious thinking style in the face of difference or disagreement, how we process information, make decisions, solve problems. Vermetid reef can be considered a key intertidal habitat of Mediterranean Sea and increasing knowledge about this natural system is important for its conservation. Aims of this study is to assess topography complexity, structure and composition of the benthic assemblages associated to reef formation in a marine protected area highlighting possible effects of the protection.

The study aims to explore the effects that videoconferencing Analytic Psychodrama (AP) has on the psychological wellbeing and emotional competence of young adults who are suffering from mental health problems. Twenty-two undergraduate students, asking for help at the Psychological Counselling Service of the University of Bologna for anxiety-depressive problems, took part in the three online groups that met weekly from October 2020 to July 2021. Pētījumā aplūkots metaforu lietojums saistībā ar Apvienotās Karalistes izstāšanos no Eiropas Savienības – mūsdienās tas ir vēl nebijis politisks lēmums. Pētījuma mērķis bija noteikt, cik bieži metaforas tiek lietotas dažādos ziņu rakstos par “Brexit” un kādas ir galvenās metaforu funkcijas. Kā empīriskā izpētes metode darbā izmantota diskursa analīze. Tās rezultāti atklāja, ka rakstos bieži tiek lietotas no fiziskām parādībām aizgūtas metaforas, lai izskaidrotu sarežģītos “Brexit” procesus. La evidencia que arrojan los estudios realizados hasta la fecha sugiere unos efectos negativos del Brexit. El diseño de la votación, el descontento con la crisis y los efectos de la globalización ayudan a explicar la paradoja según la cual los votantes optaron por una opción en contra de sus propios intereses económicos.
