Color Sensitive Response of Graphene/Graphene Quantum Dot Phototransistors

We present the fabrication and characterization of all-carbon phototransistors made of graphene three terminal devices, coated with atomically precise graphene quantum dots (GQD). Chemically synthesized GQDs are the light absorbing materials, while the underlying chemical vapor deposition (CVD)-grown graphene layer acts as the charge transporting channel. We investigated three types of GQDs with different sizes and edge structures, having distinct and characteristic optical absorption in the UV–vis range. Resumen En el presente estudio, se examinó el concepto de innovación en el sector minorista y se definieron sus relaciones con otras variables, como la satisfacción y la lealtad, tradicionalmente vinculadas con el establecimiento minorista. El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue analizar las propiedades psicométricas de las Escalas de Creencia en un Mundo Justo General y Personal. Para tal fin, se examinó la estructura interna de ambas, testeando si evalúan un mismo constructo global o constituyen dos dimensiones diferenciadas, la consistencia interna de cada una y sus relaciones con las orientaciones religiosas. Participaron del estudio 328 estudiantes universitarios de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires con edades entre 18 y 40 años (M = 24,1; DT = 3,88). El objetivo de esta investigación es presentar una adaptaciòn y validación en población española de la Escala de expectativa de los hijos adolescentes sobre la reacción de sus padres frente al comportamiento prosocial y antisocial,desarrollado por Wyatt y Carlo (2002). La muestra estuvo compuesta por 631 adolescentes españoles de entre 15 y 18 años de edad,de ambos sexos, de clase media. The influence of decision-making in tree ring-based climate reconstructions.

Tree-ring chronologies underpin the majority of annually-resolved reconstructions of Common Era climate. However, they are derived using different datasets and techniques, the ramifications of which have hitherto been little explored. Here, we report the results of a double-blind experiment that yielded 15 Northern Hemisphere summer temperature reconstructions from a common network of regional tree-ring width datasets. Taken together as an ensemble, the Common Era reconstruction mean correlates with instrumental temperatures from 1794–2016 CE at 0.79 (p < 0.001), reveals summer cooling in the years following large volcanic eruptions, and exhibits strong warming since the 1980s. This two-year study with 122 business owners examined the link between affective well-being and task-oriented as well as relationship-oriented personal initiative (PI). We tested two complementary models explaining the link between well-being and PI: (1) broaden-and-build theory and (2) self-regulation as limited resource approach. In line with current research on well-being, we differentiated between hedonic and eudaimonic well-being using life satisfaction and vigor as indicators. Hierarchical regression analyses showed that only vigor predicted both forms of PI.
