A fluorescence study of the loading and time stability of doxorubicin in sodium cholate/PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymer mixed micelles

Abstract Hypothesis Doxorubicin hydrochloride (DX) is one of the most powerful anticancer agents though its clinical use is impaired by severe undesired side effects. DX encapsulation in nanocarrier systems has been introduced as a mean to reduce its toxicity. Micelles of the nonionic triblock copolymers of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and poly(propylene oxide) (PPO) (PEO-PPO-PEO), are very promising carrier systems. The positive charge of DX confines the drug to the hydrophilic corona region of the micelles. The use of mixed micelles of PEO-PPO-PEO copolymers and a negatively charged bile salt should favour the solubilization of DX in the apolar core region of the micelles. Experiments We st…

We identified relevant stakeholder groups with the municipality, and asked them about their communication preferences through a combined Delphi study and survey approach. The findings show that information about local issues, information about issues relevant for the individual stakeholder, and dialogue on business’ needs and employment are the three most important communication needs. …

The social significance of the Facebook Like button

In this paper we study social aspects of using the Like button for purposes of impression management, identity construction, and maintenance of social ties online. On the theoretical level our investigation combines Goffman’s notion of face-work with concepts of social network analysis, shedding light on what we dub ‘nano-level’ interaction and sociality on social networking sites. Our data come from a 2013 classroom survey in which 26 Finnish university students were asked about their motives for and ways of using the Like button. Diplomdarba autores pieredze liecina, ka ļoti bieži daudzi skolēni neizpilda mājasdarbus, aizmirst tos izpildīt, vai arī skolotājam ir nepieciešams atgādināt, lai mājasdarbs tiktu veikts. Iekļaujot mācību procesā uz internetu balstītas aktivitātes skolēniem, kuri ir digitālās paaudzes pārstāvji, var būt motivējoša metodoloģijas sastāvdaļa. Darba mērķis ir atklāt, kā sociālā tīkla Facebook uzdevumi var palīdzēt veicināt mājasdarbu izpildi 7. klasē. Izvēlētā pētījuma metode ir atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums Rīgas Valsts 3.ģimnāzijā. "KinLeaves" reklāmas aktivitātes sociālajā tīklā “Facebook” 2016. gadā

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādas reklāmas aktivitātes uzņēmums ir veicis un noskaidrot, vai sociālajā tīklā “Facebook” ar reklāmas aktivitātēm ir iespējams sasniegt mērķauditoriju. Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām – teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās un empīriskās. Teorētisko daļu veido nodaļas par reklāmu, sociālo tīklu vietnēm, sociālo tīklu „Facebook” un reklāmu sociālo tīklu vietnēs. Metodoloģiskajā daļā apskatītas pētījumā izmantotās metodes - kontentanalīze, intervija, anketēšana. Empīriskajā daļā tiek veikta uzņēmuma „KinLeaves” sociālā tīkla „Facebook” lapas kontentanalīze, kā arī intervija ar uzņēmuma pārstāvi un mērķauditorijas anketēšana.
