In this study, the first synthesis and biological investigation of the new abietane-diterpenoid (+)-4-epi-liquiditerpenoid acid (8a) together with several of its analogs are reported. The compounds were generated from the readily available methyl callitrisate (7), which was obtained from callitrisic acid present in Moroccan Sandarac resin. La malnutrizione è un problema di rilevante importanza nell’anziano. Numerosi studi hanno dimostrato che la prevalenza della malnutrizione è compresa tra il 20 e il 60% nei pazienti anziani al momento dell’ammissione in un reparto ospedaliero e tra il 30 e il 50% nei pazienti che accedono alle nursing-home; alcuni studi hanno stimato un dato di prevalenza di malnutrizione pari all’85% nei pazienti anziani confinati in casa, ospedalizzati o istituzionalizzati. Simeprevir, given for 12 weeks as part of a 24- or 48-week combination regimen with PR is approved for the treatment of chronic HCV GT4 infection.
