This article analyzes two novels set in Alexandria. The first one is "Cortile a Cleopatra" by the Italian writer Fausta Cialente. The second one is "Nobody sleeps in Alexandria" (Lâ ahad yanâm fî'l-Iskandariyya) by Ibrahim Abdel Meguid. The analysis focus on actions that characterize the genre of travel literature in which the traveler is expected to perform two actions: leaving then returning. If the traveler does not come back to the starting point, his experience is not considered as "travel", rather as "change of residence". But it does not always work out that way. Fausto Maria Martini nació el 14 de abril de 1886 en Roma, ciudad en la que falleció en 1930. Su obra como poeta, crítico y dramaturgo se inició con la publibación de la colección poética Le piccole morte (1903), libro que supuso su incorporación a la nómina de la entonces naciente escuela de los crepusculares. Dentro de los parámetros del movimiento publicó otros dos conjuntos de poemas Panem nostrum (1907) y Poesie provinciali (1910). Alors que, même de nos jours, les auteurs de dictionnaires monolingues et bilingues portant un patronyme féminin sont extrêmement rares, pendant la première moitié du XXe siècle trois femmes publient un dictionnaire en France et en Italie avec plus ou moins de succès. Celui d’Ottavia Cesana (1912) est un dictionnaire de phraséologie, ceux de Faustina De Graziani (1916, 1917, 1958) et de « Mlle L. Aim Aglaope infausta is a thermophilous Zygaenid of Atlanto-Mediterranean origin, distributed in Portugal, Spain, France and north-western Italy reaching its north-eastern distribution limit in western Germany. The local, regional and inter-regional genetic structure of this species is studied in this analysis. Location and methods The allozymes of 456 individuals from 12 populations (11 from western Germany and one from southern Portugal) were studied by electrophoresis. Results Six of the 19 loci analysed were monomorphic. Genetic differentiation between populations was high (FST: 0.404), while the mean genetic diversity was low (He: 3.4%). The intervention concerns the controversy between Schoenberg, Adorno and Mann following the publications of the "Doktor Faustus" and the "Philosophie der neuen Musik". With regard to Adorno's text, the exergo to the essay on Schoenberg and, in a more general sense, the attempt to bring the "neue Musik" back to the framework of a Hegelian philosophy are analyzed.

The few translators who have attempted a Spanish verse translation of Goethe’s Faust for the most part fail to do justice to the metrical diversity of Goethe’s play and therefore they either altogether give up the idea of rendering Goethe’s play in poetry, e.g. Pedro Gálvez in 1984, or they create a traditionalist Spanish Faust poem with excessive liberties regarding its content, like, in 1882, Teodoro Llorente.
