The toys are an indispensible part of the childhood. They influence the formation of the child’s conceptions because through them the child perceives and learns about the world. Dolls are toys that have not lost their topicality since the origins of the humankind. As the visual information dominates it is important what information is expressed by dolls-teachers because children will arrive at school having already some notions about the teacher. The aim of this ethnographic and autoethnographic research was to explore what kind of a learning culture existed in an 8th grade English class in a Finnish basic education school in the 2011-2012 academic year. The class was taught jointly by a subject teacher and a special education teacher. An adequate description of the reflexive system in Ancient Greek entails a brief overview of the main assumptions on the notion of reflexivity and, more in general, imposes some preliminary remarks on the theoretical framework which forms the background of the argumentation. The primary reflexive strategy in Greek belongs to the pronominal type, although some significant changes occurred throughout the history of the language, which impose a more fine-grained diachronic description.

In particolare si sofferma sulle competenze relative alle capacità di ascolto, di empatia, di entrare in relazione attraverso il canale verbale e non verbale e sulla necessità di un percorso centrato anche sullo sviluppo della consapevolezza di sé per potere entrare in contatto con l'altro.
