“Korejiešu valodas transkripcija un transliterācija” ir darbs, kur tiek skaidrots ne tikai korejiešu valodas pieraksts angļu un latviešu valodās, bet arī tiek skaidrota korejiešu alfabēta izveides vēsture, korejiešu valodas fonoloģija, kas ir nepieciešama transkripcijas izveidē. Darba mērķis ir sniegt vispārīgu ieskatu korejiešu valodas pierakstā angļu un latviešu valodā, veicot arī paskaidrojumus par procesiem šajās valodās, kas var ietekmēt romanizācijas sistēmu pierakstu. Romanizācijas sistēmas angļu valodā tiek kritizētas gan par neprecīzu korejiešu valodas izrunas pierakstu, gan par neprecīzu vārdu grafisku attēlojumu. Kodin lukuaktiviteettien yhteys lukemisen taitoihin

Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli tarkastella kodin lukuaktiviteettien yhteyttä lukusujuvuuteen ja lukemisen taitoihin. Kodin lukuaktiviteetteja tutkittiin formaalien lukuaktiviteettien eli lukemisen opettamisen ja informaalien lukuaktiviteettien eli jaetun lukemisen näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin kodin lukuaktiviteettien vaikutusta lukutaitoon, nopean nimeämisen taitoon ja fonologiseen tietoisuuteen sekä näiden keskinäisiä yhteyksiä. Tutkimus toteutettiin osana Jyväskylän yliopiston luku- ja laskusujuvuuden FLARE-hanketta. The specific heat of phonon cavities is investigated in order to analyze the effect of phonon confinement on thermodynamic properties. The specific heat of freestanding very thin SiN membranes in the low-dimensional limit is measured down to very low temperatures (from 6 K to 50 mK). In the whole temperature range, we measured an excess specific heat orders of magnitude bigger than the typical value observed in amorphous solids. Below 1 K, a crossover in cp to a lower power law is seen, and the value of the specific heat of thinner membranes becomes larger than that of thicker ones demonstrating a significant contribution coming from the surface. PsL Anne Puolakanaho selvitti väitöstutkimuksessaan, miten leikki-ikäisten 3 - 5-vuotiaiden lasten kielelliset ja kognitiiviset taidot ovat yhteydessä lukemisen virheettömyyteen ja sujuvuuteen kouluiässä. This paper uses the electromagnetic midsagittal articulometry technique (EMMA) for the investigation of tongue tip and tongue blade activity during the production of Catalan clusters consisting of consonants specified for adjacent places of articulation. C2 of these clusters is /d/ (a dental in Catalan); C1 is either an alveolar (/1/, /n/, /r/, /z/), a post-alveolar (/?/) or an alveopalatal (/?/). Apical and laminal trajectories for these clusters are compared to those for intervocalic /d/ and for intervocalic C 1.
