El nostre objectiu en aquest article és fer una síntesi dels principals estudis d’Alfred Morel-Fatio sobre llengua i literatura catalanes, així com definir el seu paper en la catalanística del segle XIX, especialment a França però també a la resta d’Europa. Cal saber que aquest erudit francès va tenir un paper cabdal en el desplegament dels estudis universitaris catalans fora del nostre àmbit lingüístic, a banda de fer aportacions significatives al desplegament de la filologia catalana. Doktrynalne ujęcie korupcji stanowi przykład modelowej interdyscyplinarności tematu, jednakże często pozostawia wiele wątpliwości z uwagi na rozbieżności w postrzeganiu zjawisk towarzyszących korupcji. Autor podejmuje próbę przeglądu literatury, a także dokonuje analizy prawno-porównawczej norm prawa międzynarodowego oraz polskiego w odniesieniu do form korupcji. Z uwagi na brak uniwersalnego charakteru definicji legalnych, rozwiązaniem wydaje się wyodrębnienie kryminologicznych form korupcji, które ułatwić mogą jej percepcję, a w rezultacie prowadzić do skuteczniejszej walki z korupcją poprzez dobór właściwych metod technicznych oraz taktycznych.

Abstract Controlled assessment of functional cortical networks is an unmet need in the clinical research of noncooperative subjects, such as infants. We developed an automated, pneumatic stimulation method to actuate naturalistic movements of an infant’s hand, as well as an analysis pipeline for assessing the elicited electroencephalography (EEG) responses and related cortical networks. Twenty newborn infants with perinatal asphyxia were recruited, including 7 with mild-to-moderate hypoxic–ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). The article takes a diachronic look at feminatives in the Polish language from the sixteenth century to the present day. The authors recall the history of female forms in the language. Referring to pre-war journalism, discussions in the journal Poradnik Językowy [The Linguistic Guide] and the propaganda lexis of communist Poland, they prove that female forms are not foreign to the Polish language. They create a comprehensive list of reasons why feminatives have disappeared from Polish, taking account of both intra-linguistic and extra-linguistic factors. Tax Reforms and Labour-market Performance: An Evaluation for Spain using REMS

This paper uses REMS, a Rational Expectations Model of the Spanish economy designed by Boscá et al (2007), to analyse the effects of lowering the overall tax wedge to the level prevailing in the US. Our results partially confirm previous findings in the literature: a reduction in the overall tax wedge of 19.5 points, in order to reach the US levels, has a positive effect in the long run, increasing total hours by about 7 per cent and GDP by about 8 percentage points. In terms of GDP per adult, these results account for 1/4 of the gap with respect to the US, but imply a reduction of only one percentage point in the labour productivity gap. Abstract This work deals with an integrated geomorphological and chemical–physical study of “calanchi” landforms in two sites (Ottosalme and Catalfimo) of NW Sicily (southern Italy), developed on dominant silty-clay deposits. The calanchi fronts are characterized by different morphological features and dominant geomorphic processes. Sharp knife-edged ridges and concentrated water runoff dominate at Ottosalme, and smoother landforms affected by mass movements (mud flows and translational slides) prevail at Catalfimo.
