The standard separable 2-D wavelet transform (WT) has recently achieved a great success in image processing because it provides a sparse representation of smooth images. However, it fails to efficiently capture 1-D discontinuities, like edges or contours. These features, being elongated and characterized by geometrical regularity along different directions, intersect and generate many large magnitude wavelet coefficients. Coordination-Induced Spin-State Switching with Nickel Chlorin and Nickel Isobacteriochlorin

We present the first coordination-induced spin-state switching with nickel chlorin and nickel isobacteriochlorin. The spin-state switching was monitored by UV-vis spectroscopy and NMR titration experiments. The association constants (K1 and K2) and thermodynamic parameters (ΔH and ΔS) of the coordination of pyridine were determined. The first X-ray analyses of a paramagnetic nickel chlorin and a nickel isobacteriochlorin provide further information about the structure of the octahedral complexes. The parliamentary form of government, lacking adequate stabilizing elements, generates inefficiencies and institutional dysfunctions. The changes that it has undergone have determined new balances between powers, which favor the Executive, and, within this, the monocratic role of the President of the Council of Ministers. These changes highlight even more the need to carry out institutional reforms that rationalize the strengthening of the head of government, providing for suitable counterweights, and restructuring the relationship of trust in order to ensure its stability.
Unique continuation results for certain generalized ray transforms of symmetric tensor fields

Let $I_{m}$ denote the Euclidean ray transform acting on compactly supported symmetric $m$-tensor field distributions $f$, and $I_{m}^{*}$ be its formal $L^2$ adjoint. We study a unique continuation result for the normal operator $N_{m}=I_{m}^{*}I_{m}$. More precisely, we show that if $N_{m}$ vanishes to infinite order at a point $x_0$ and if the Saint-Venant operator $W$ acting on $f$ vanishes on an open set containing $x_0$, then $f$ is a potential tensor field. Sistēma sastāv no divām daļām – pie NIPIS sistēmas piesaistītā daļa, kas atbild par pamatlīdzekļu pārvaldi, importu un izdruku, un neatkarīgā SETSUnits daļa, kas ir lietojama uz mobilajām ierīcēm, un nodrošina pamatlīdzekļu un piesaistīto bilžu pārvaldi un pamatlīdzekļu inventarizāciju, kamēr lietotājs neatrodas pie datora ar NIPIS sistēmu. Programmatūra ir izstrādāta programmēšanas valodā C#, izmantojot ASP.NET Web Forms un ASP.NET MVC ietvarus un Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 izstrādes vidi.
Distinctive Evasion Mechanisms to Allow Persistence of Borrelia burgdorferi in Different Human Cell Lines

Lyme borreliosis is a multisystemic disease caused by the pleomorphic bacteria of the Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato complex. The exact mechanisms for the infection to progress into a prolonged sequelae of the disease are currently unknown, although immune evasion and persistence of the bacteria in the host are thought to be major contributors. The current study investigated B. burgdorferi infection processes in two human cell lines, both non-immune and non-phagocytic, to further understand the mechanisms of infection of this bacterium.
