Evolving collective structures in the transitional nuclei 162W and 164W

Excited states in the neutron-deficient nuclides 162 74 W88 and 164 74 W90 were investigated by using the γ -ray spectrometer Jurogam. A change in structure is apparent from the first rotational alignments in 162W and 164W, whose rotationally aligned bands are interpreted as ν(h9/2) 2 and ν(i13/2) 2 configurations, respectively. The level schemes have been extended using recoil (-decay) correlations with the observation of excited collective structures. Configuration assignments have been made on the basis of comparisons of the deduced aligned angular momentum, as a function of rotational frequency, with the predictions of the cranked shell model. peerReviewed

Framing Effects on Online Security Behavior

We conducted an incentivized lab experiment examining the effect of gain vs. loss-framed warning messages on online security behavior. We measured the probability of suffering a cyberattack during the experiment as the result of five specific security behaviors: choosing a safe connection, providing minimum information during the sign-up process, choosing a strong password, choosing a trusted vendor, and logging-out. A loss-framed message led to more secure behavior during the experiment. The experiment also measured the effect of trusting beliefs and cybersecurity knowledge. Trusting beliefs had a negative effect on security behavior, while cybersecurity knowledge had a positive effect.

Customer Value Framework and Recommendation Intention: The Moderating Role of Customer Characteristics in an Online Travel Community

The aim of this study was to develop and test a model that examined the interactions among the customer value framework, recommendation intention and customer characteristics in an online travel community (OTC). Data were obtained using Amazon Mechanical Turk from 251 members of an OTC as a sample. The partial least squares method was used to analyse the data. We found that all the variables of the customer value framework, including functional value, hedonic value and social value, were positively related to recommendation intention. Mitt pro -gradu arbetets uppgift var att undersöka bland idrottsgymnasieelever ifall individuella och lagidrottare skiljer sig från varandra vad gäller skolframgång. Jag ville granska om idrottsgymnasieelever som har olika kön och utövar olika grenar skiljer sig från varandra angående sin skolframgång. Jag ville även få reda på hur idrottsgymnasieelevernas kön, gren, hur mycket de läser och föräldrarnas utbildning förklarar deras skolframgång. Undersökningen var av sin natur kvantitativ. Undersökningsmaterialet samlades med hjälp av frågeformulär (se bilaga 4) från sex idrottsgymnasier runtom i Finland. Kemiasta tuli itsenäinen oppiaine vuonna 1918. Lukion lukusuunnitelmaan kemia tuli vasta vuodesta 1941. Aina 1980-luvun puoleen väliin saakka opetussuunnitelmat olivat valtakunnanhallinnon antamia. Vuodesta 1985 lähtien Koulu- ja Opetushallitus ovat antaneet valtakunnalliset perusteet koulutuksen järjestäjien laatimien ja vahvistamien opetussuunnitelmien pohjaksi. Tutkimuksen päätavoitteena on kuvata lukion kemian kansallisen opetussuunnitelman kehittymistä Suomen itsenäisyyden alusta tähän päivään saakka.
