The integrated analytical approach developed in this study offers a powerful methodology for the structural characterisation of complex molecular nanomaterials. Structures of a covalent organic framework based on boronate esters (COF-5) and a conjugated microporous polymer (Aza-CMP) have been investigated by a combination of several electron microscopy techniques elucidating the three-dimensional topology of the complex polycrystalline (COF) and non-crystalline (CMP) materials. Unexpected, aperiodic mesoporous channels of 20-50 nm in diameter were found to be penetrating the COF and CMP particles, which cannot be detected by X-ray diffraction techniques. A note on the Bregmanized Total Variation and dual forms

This paper considers two approaches to perform image restoration while preserving the contrast. The first one is the Total Variation-based Bregman iterations while the second consists in the minimization of an energy that involves robust edge preserving regularization. We show that these two approaches can be derived form a common framework. This allows us to deduce new properties and to extend and generalize these two previous approaches.
Homogeneous Weyl connections of non-positive curvature

We study homogenous Weyl connections with non-positive sectional curvatures. The Cartesian product $\mathbb S^1 \times M$ carries canonical families of Weyl connections with such a property, for any Riemmanian manifold $M$. We prove that if a homogenous Weyl connection on a manifold, modeled on a unimodular Lie group, is non-positive in a stronger sense (streched non-positive), then it must be locally of the product type.

Elastic-plastic rate-independent materials with isotropic hardening/softening of nonlocal nature are considered in the context of small displacements and strains. A suitable thermodynamic framework is envisaged as a basis of a nonlocal associative plasticity theory in which the plastic yielding laws comply with a (nonlocal) maximum intrinsic dissipation theorem.
