Estudio de interacciones farmacocinéticas del efavirenz con fármacos metabolizados por el CYP450: sertralina, nortriptilina y rifampicina.

En este trabajo se han estudiado las interacciones farmacocinéticas del efavirenz (EFV) con tres fármacos metabolizados por el citocromo P450 (sertralina (SRT), nortriptilina (NT) y rifampicina (RFP)), utilizando la rata como animal de experimentación. El EFV se administró por vía intraduodenal (dosis = 10 mg) y los otros fármacos se administraron por vía intraduodenal (SRT y NT) o por vía oral (RFP). La coadministración de EFV y SRT (dosis de 5 mg y 10 mg) dio lugar a niveles plasmáticos de EFV mayores que los obtenidos en el grupo de control (animales administrados solo con EFV). The ability of a hydrogel obtained by crosslinking INUDV and PEGBa to facilitate sustained release of flutamide is examined. The hydrogel is prepared in pH 7.4 PBS and no toxic solvents or catalysts are used. It is recovered in microparticulate form and its size distribution is determined. Mucoadhesive properties are evaluated in vitro by reproducing gastrointestinal conditions. Flutamide is loaded into the hydrogel using a post-fabrication encapsulation procedure that allows a drug loading comparable to that of market tablets. Biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles have been prepared by UV irradiation of an acryloylated water soluble polymer by an inverse microemulsion. The starting polymer was a α,β‐poly(N‐2‐hydroxyethyl)‐D,L‐aspartamide (PHEA) partially functionalized with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) in order to introduce reactive vinyl groups in the side chain. Adopting sustainable irrigation technologies in Italy: a study on the determinants of inter- and intra-farm diffusion

This paper analyses the drivers for adopting irrigation systems with water conservation and saving technologies (WCSTs) by Italian farmers. The agricultural sector in Italy, like in other Mediterranean countries, suffers from water scarcity and water endowment variability. Water resources play a decisive role in agricultural production and in implementing large-scale WCSTs capable of improving the resilience of the whole agricultural sector. This study uses a microeconomic panel data approach to estimate farmers' decisions in adopting (inter-farm) sustainable irrigation technologies and assesses the intensity of (intra-farm) water-saving practices.
