This article considers the institutionalisation of the Five-star Movement (M5s) in regional and local councils. It discusses the process of the Movement’s institutionalisation, analysing the development of its internal organisation; its local platforms and political performance; its institutional repertoire of action, and the several internal and external conflicts between its own rules and the ‘others’. Pētījumā analizētas mājas strazda Sturnus vulgaris pavasara atlidošanas fenoloģijas pārmaiņas Ziemeļaustrumeiropā laika periodā no 1922. līdz 2017. g. un to saistība ar izmaiņām meteoroloģiskā pavasara iestāšanās laikā. Mājas strazdu pavasara atlidošanas laiks būtiski korelē ar pavasara iestāšanos, un periodā no 1922. līdz 2017. g. tas ir kļuvis vidēji par 12 dienām agrāks. Tomēr pārmaiņas pavasara iestāšanās laikā notiek vēl straujāk – tam, pētījumā aplūkotajā periodā, kļūstot vidēji par 27 dienām agrākam. Values of love: two forms of infinity characteristic of human persons

AbstractIn his late reflections on values and forms of life from the 1920s and 1930s, Husserl develops the concept of personal value and argues that these values open two kinds of infinities in our lives. On the one hand personal values disclose infinite emotive depths in human individuals while on the other hand they connect human individuals in continuous and progressive chains of care. In order to get at the core of the concept, I will explicate Husserl’s discussion of personal values of love by distinguishing between five related features. This paper explores Husserl’s late manuscripts in order to sketch a phenomenological description of drives and the dimension of passive constitution that belongs to them. Although this topic touches upon psychological issues, it will be shown that a specifically phenomenological approach allows us to recognize the transcendental significance of instincts. By means of the phenomenological reduction, drives reveal a peculiar subject, the ‘original child’, which is described not as a figure of developmental psychology but as a transcendental subject pre-forming the way the world appears to us. Temporality of Maternity, Chronic Pain, and Ethics: Challenging Current Narratives on Pain and Health

This chapter aims to articulate new ethical possibilities made apparent during experiences of chronic pain, and suggest an ethics of temporality apparent in the mother–child relation. I also aim to bring an understanding of the complexity and diversity of subjectivities in pain and its impact on its social, intersubjective environment. The narratives of mothers who have experienced chronic pain for more than three months help articulate a gap found in the Western model of medical knowledge.
