As the relationship between God's gratuitousness and the contingecy of the world is concerned, Leibnizian modern theodicy and weak theology seem to radically contradict each other. Nevertheless, both perspectives are able to preserve the simultaneous presence of gratuity and unconditioned givenness of theophany together with the contingency of reality in its heteronomy from the rules of the creationist order, since it is also determined by fortuity. In this way both positions are much more closer than waht they might seem at a first sight.
Metabolism of propafenone and verapamil by cryopreserved human, rat, mouse and dog hepatocytes: comparison with metabolism in vivo

In the present study we examined the metabolism of [(14)C]propafenone (P) and [(14)C]verapamil (V) using cryopreserved human, dog (Beagle), rat (Sprague-Dawley) and mouse (NMRI) hepatocytes. The percentage ratios of the metabolites were identified after extraction by HPLC with UV and radioactivity detection. Phase-II metabolites were cleaved using beta-glucuronidase. Metabolism of the drugs by cryopreserved hepatocytes was compared with that in the respective species in vivo. Solche Fragen sind nicht selten durch einen eindringlichen emotionalen Ton geprägt und vermitteln zumeist mehr als nur ein Bedürfnis nach schlichten Informationen. Doch wir leben nicht nur in dieser objektivierten, gemessenen, konventionellen Zeit. Die philosophische und existentielle Reflexion stellt eine erlebte, subjektive Zeit heraus, die für uns lebenswichtig ist. Diese innere Zeitlichkeit und die interpersonelle Resonanz, die damit einhergeht, sind durch das heutige prekäre Leben bedroht. Damit ist jedoch das Fundament unseres Subjekt-Seins in Gefahr.

Rap and politics: a special focus on Tunisian rappers

This paper deals with the topic of conflict and peace in the field of rap. In the first part, we tried to collect some interdisciplinary research around the world in a short review of the state of the art focusing on the communicative and political aspects of the rap of the origin and of its different evolutions. In the second part of our article, we describe the development of rap music in Tunisia over the time. The leitmotiv is the use of the rap as a form of political communication, using lyrics for claiming for a different society with the aim of addressing the performance to politics and to citizens, both in a local and a global perspective.

Uvarov's theory of locust phase polymorphism implies a differential phase-specific gene expression. It was the goal of the present investigation to provide data on the molecular level for this concept. We used the technique of 2D gel electrophoresis to generate haemolymph polypeptide maps from mature locust males. Under the given conditions we identified 238 polypeptide spots by their molecular weight and isoelectrical point. Isolated and crowded males from the Mainz strain, all originating from crowded ancesters, differed in 20 spots: three were solitary-specific and 17 crowded-specific. Phenology of the Braconidae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonoidea) at Andorra has been conducted/studied using a Malaise trap after a one-year cycle during 1993. A total of 1.892 specimens, representing 23 subfamilies and 79 genera were sampled. About 93.7% of the captures were koinobiont braconids, whereas 6.3% belonged to idiobiont braconids. The annual phenology has been characterized through the correlation between the evolution of the collected braconids and the weather (meteorological conditions).
