In unserem Beitrag analysieren wir, wie die Burgerinnen und Burger den Regierungswechsel und die Ubernahme der Regierungsgeschafte durch die neue grun-rote Regierung wahrgenommen, wie sich die Regierungs- und Parteienzufriedenheit (ausgedruckt durch die hypothetische Wahlentscheidung) im Zeitverlauf entwickelt haben und was die Determinanten der Zufriedenheit sind. Unsere Analysen basieren dabei auf insgesamt sechs reprasentativen telefonischen Befragungen im Zeitraum von November 2011 bis Oktober 2015. VISUAL BIASES IN TELEVISION CAMPAIGN COVERAGE

Based on the results of an interrogation of cameramen who were considered experts for the application of camera techniques, a content analysis of camera positions in presenting the two candidates for the office of the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1976 election was carried out. In addition, all verbal statements by journalists on positive and negative reactions of the public toward the two candidates as well as the optical display of positive and negative reactions were analyzed. Visual biases could be found evaluating the application of camera techniques by judgments of cameramen and confronting verbal and visual contents of television campaign coverage.

Sir: The prognosis of stage I and -II Wilms tumours with favourable histology is good, reaching 97% (stage I) and 92% (stage II) 5 year disease-free survival rates [1]. With these figures in mind the question arises whether the overall prognosis of Wilms tumours could be improved by presymptomatic routine physical examinations in an attempt to avoid stage III to V primary diagnoses. In the Federal Republic of Germany six routine physical examinations (RPE) are offered to infants, and two additional ones to children between 12 and 48 months. Während der Verlauf und die Ursachen des Geburtenverhaltens intensiv erforscht wurden, sind die finanziellen Folgen einer Geburt empirisch kaum beachtet worden. Daher werden hier kurzfristige Wohlstandsveränderungen von Familien (hinsichtlich verfügbarem Haushaltseinkommen und Äquivalenzeinkommen) rund um die Geburt eines Kindes in längsschnittlicher Perspektive analysiert und auf ihre Ursachen untersucht. Zu diesem Zweck wurden die Daten des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels (1984-2005) mittels Fixed-Effekt-Panelregressionsmodellen analysiert. Monitoring a meat-free pledge with smartphones:An experimental study

Pledges are a popular strategy to encourage meat reduction, though experimental studies of their efficacy are lacking. Three-hundred and twenty-five participants from three different countries (UK, Germany, Australia) were randomly assigned to pledge 28 days meat-free or not, and their behavior was tracked via smartphones. Participants answered daily surveys regarding their eating behavior, meat cravings, and shared photos of their meals. Baseline data was collected prior to the pledge, after the 28 days, and one-month post-intervention.
