Moreover, it investigates how this relationship is affected both by the structure and variations in networks and by firm size and age. A questionnaire-based survey was sent to managers of firms (including one-person firms) in the firewood industry in Norway. Non-linear analysis of plane steel prestressed truss in fire

The concept of analysis of 2-D static loaded prestressed steel trusses till failure during fire using a modified method of forces is presented. Failure of steel trusses in fire is based on the criterion of stresses. Behaviour of steel is described by non-linear constitutive model (based on hypo-elastic Ramberg-Osgood formula and Dorn creep theory) and Plem proposition (for string). Both models are approximated in calculations by hyperbolic Norton-Bailey rule. Fire simulates thermal force as an action of high temperature that increases linearly up to some level. Giovanni de’ Medici (1475–1521), son of Lorenzo il Magnifico, was destined to a brilliant ecclesiastical career that eventually led him to the Holy See as pope Leo X (1513–1521). His reign, marked by wars and the emergence of protestantism, was also a period of intense artistic activity in Rome, with Raphael, Michelangelo, Sangallo as well as a plethora of humanist authors engaged in celebrating Leo’s feats. This article explores Leo’s patronage and propaganda, in particular through an analysis of one of the numerous poems dedicated to him by Giano Vitale Castalio of Naples (Ianus Vitalis Castalius, c. 1485–c. 1560) at the beginning of his pontificate. peerReviewed

Ophthalmic drug delivery is still a challenge due to the protective barriers of the eye. A common strategy to promote drug absorption is the use of ocular permeation enhancers, while an innovative approach is the use of polymeric micelles. In the present work, the two mentioned approaches were coupled by conjugating ocular permeation enhancers (PEG2000, carnitine, creatine, taurine) to an inulin-based co-polymer (INU-EDA-RA) in order to obtain self-assembling biopolymers with permeation enhancer properties for the hydrophobic drug dexamethasone (DEX).
