Nowadays concrete is the most attractive option for the construction sector. This is because concrete itself is a low cost, low energy and low environmental impact material. Moreover, concrete structures are very durable and high load bearing. This is achieved by incorporating steel, because concrete itself is a very low tensile strength material. Chemically, the weakness originates in the cohesive nature of cement used for concrete making. Fay's identity on Riemann surfaces is a powerful tool in the context of algebro-geometric solutions to integrable equations. This relation generalizes a well-known identity for the cross-ratio function in the complex plane. It allows to establish relations between theta functions and their derivatives. This offers a complementary approach to algebro-geometric solutions of integrable equations with certain advantages with respect to the use of Baker-Akhiezer functions. It has been successfully applied by Mumford et al. to the Korteweg-de Vries, Kadomtsev-Petviashvili and sine-Gordon equations. BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) has been discovered in the brain and is widely implicated in neuroplasticity, memory and cognition through the activation of neuronal TrkB (tropomyosin receptor kinase B) receptors. We have recently shown that the cardiovascular system contained as much BDNF as the brain and that exogenous BDNF was able to induce endothelium-dependent vascular relaxation. Other studies have suggested that activation of endothelial TrkB receptors by BDNF is involved in atherosclerotic processes. Pour ce faire, des comparaisons internationales ou des comparaisons dans le temps au sein d'un même pays doivent être mobilisées, ce qui suppose la mise en oeuvre de procédures méthodologiques spécifiques. Cette étude évalue la discrimination dans l’accès à l’emploi dans trois professions présentes à la fois dans le secteur privé et dans la Fonction Publique. Deux dimensions sont examinées : l’effet de la réputation du lieu de résidence et l’effet de l’origine maghrébine. Elle est réalisée sur données expérimentales de testing réalisé dans trois professions en tension pour lesquelles la discrimination devrait a priori être très réduite : les responsables administratifs de catégorie A, les techniciens de maintenance de catégorie B et les aides soignantes de catégorie C. La convergence des systèmes nationaux de gouvernance: une perspective contingente

The objective of this paper is to show that the answer to the question of convergence of national systems of governance is contingent on a number of assumptions. The first assumption bears on the functions and the formal mechanisms characterizing the systems of governance. The second concerns the possibility to define a unique national system of governance for all the firms of a nation. The third focuses on the process of homogenization of national systems of governance attributed to globalization.

In this thesis, we address the problem of robust estimation of mean or total electricity consumption curves by sampling in a finite population for the entire population and for small areas.
